Band of Outsiders is definitely a good, fun place to start, as is Breathless for its historical significance. However, I'm going to suggest Pierrot Le Fou as a potential next film after seeing one of those. Sort of represents a wilder, freer, looser side to the man's oeuvre.

I don't think Breathless is inherently more representative of his work as a whole, really, but as it started his formal career and formed his reputation I think it still makes sense as an entry point.

I thought Grande wasn't white for some reason. I see I was wrong. I don't know how fascist her fanbase would be, since I know evidently nothing about her.

Ha! Why should I trust a Biafra impersonator?

Yeah, I think there's some possibility he's for real. His work isn't obviously parodic, even if it's hideously generic. That reddit article doesn't seem like proof, but it's another straw on the unbroken, though strained, camel's back.

That's a strange, but fascinating film, is it not?

Someone made a Pinterest of that.

Well, sure, but no one is the recipient of a universal, all encompassing love, alas.

Those aren't minority opinions these days, really.

Oh, I"m sure it's an entire subculture.

It's not nerdy if it helps develop revolutionary consciousness, you puppet of bourgeois reaction.

I get a perverse enjoyment out of seeing open, self proclaimed fascists on twitter with Taylor Swift avatars. So far I know of at least three.

It's a masterwork of terrifying self revelation and intensely aestheticized pathology. It will never leave my head, nor cease to trouble my thoughts or make my body sway to its riotous rhythm.

Well, his whole personality and background seemed kind of unusual even initially. Like the whole thing with him filming absolutely everything constantly. That seems to have been completely authentic, and it's one of the strangest parts of his entire character, haha.

Oddly enough, almost all of his actual life story checks out perfectly well, even though his Brainwash persona is almost certainly Banksy's own device.

Yes! Prison will give us more time to read and think.

I mean, Bernie could stand to be a little more authoritarian, no? Bill Clinton suggested his supporters wanted to shoot bankers and the Sanders camp felt the proper course of action was *denying* it! What wimps.

Kang seems like a more revolutionary name, so Kang, I guess.

don't look at me, I voted for comprehensive social revolution

Narwhal's transmutation into a hardcore Stalinist was something I wouldn't have anticipated.
