@dave_t: Destarred? Yeah right...

"America makes some of the world's finest beers. And now those beers are getting the conveyance they deserve—cans."

@Mike Stratton: I doubt that if they would've said "how did a phone take this picture" that you would've taken the time to comment. It's easy to troll readers into spending more time on the site and commenting when you use something as divisive as the iPhone in the title.

Another 2-week photography trend in action, and this one is like 50x more work and mess than photoshop! I wonder what's going to be next...

@Kuroyume: Indeed, I didn't mention the tunnels, but from what I gather, the 'open area' is about 50m2?

I'm pretty sure the actual quote was "I always invented to obtain money to go on patenting other people's inventions."

50m2 is just slightly smaller than my apartment, where having 33 people would really be a challenge. It's amazing to see how happy these people seem to be, but coming to grips with the fact that it does, in fact, look like you are going to be rescued, is different than having to wait for several months to get out of

@ho0lee0h: You can't be serious... wow.

@techynottreky: Yeah. I constantly wonder whether some people just put themselves in these situations on purpose in order to generate more interest/views for their videos.

Anybody down for a game?

Not to totally flood this thread with comments, but it seems as though the 7D created an additional gap between models which means they almost had to downgrade the XXD series in order to not impose on the new segment.

As suspected, the reaction to this has been pretty 'meh' in the photography community, with some people finding that the announcement of the 60D was enough to finally push them over the edge to buying a 50D. Seems like an update targeting gadget fiends and videographers more than actual photographers.

And the DSLR inches even closer to the point and shoot.

Spiderman font should only be used for the word "spider-man", it's simply ugly in every other context.

Now do OS/2 Warp!!!

I love pinball, I've never been able to really get into the video games. The physics just always seem way too off, but I haven't played any recently. Haven't played Pinball Hall of Fame on 360 though.

Pretty cool for a quick setup, but basically any camera can take fantastic pictures through a telescope.
