Its just too damned hot, can you fix that?

Can I star this 5 times?

1 year combined salary after down payment which should be 20%. You’ll thank me when you’ve paid off your house in 5-10 years.

As someone who has years of experience making and serving popcorn professionally, I just want to concur that you are absolutely correct in your opinion that you need more oil than most people use. We use coconut oil, though, alongside Flavacol (or similar off-brand) salt added pre-pop.

This is a great list that hits on all my hiking pet peeves! One thing I’d add is “stay on the trail, even if it’s muddy.” Walking around the mud widens the trail and causes erosion.

if you’re hiking where there’s notable wildlife (read:bears), go ahead and shout your lewd jokes. better than accidentally sneaking up on a bear.

There’s so many lies and false statements in this story it’s crazy. Please, readers, do your own research on these rulings. Don’t just believe what you read here because you’re only getting part of the story. The author is clearly in favor of a larger government role in every aspect of your life, especially your

I tend to buy pork which is by default about 4 times cheaper than beef. At $1.74/lb for the shoulder roast I don’t have to wait for sales.

Look gang, most of us on Lifehacker know, but if you don’t, or you don’t practice it:

Darling husband? Is that you?;-)

I say the biggest thing (which summarizes a few of your points) is to give yourself plenty of time and have a lot of patience. No matter where you’re going there will be backed up traffic because of wildlife on the roads and possibly road construction. Take your time passing a bison on the road — They’re huge and

There’s now an official Grand Prismatic overlook and trail which opened in 2017. It’s still a step hike but much less sketchy. Park at the Fairy Falls trailhead.

I went with a group of 8 people, 2 cars, service is spotty, I wouldn’t buy walkie talkies, but definitely talk about the goal of the day so you don’t get separated.

I’ve only been once, so I’m not expert, but I do have one tip for getting better photos of the stunning Grand Prismatic Spring — when you’re walking the boardwalks around the spring, you’ll notice a fairly close hill about a km away with a trail below it and people going up and down the hill. When you leave, drive

If you are new to wild life spotting I like was, it’s much easier to spot cars stopped on the side of the road with a bunch of people pointing hands/caemras somewhere into the woods/grass/bushes. Use them as a guide for whether there’s something worth stopping for.

If you want to stay in the park, keep rechecking the reservations sites. Spots book early, but if you want a night or two at each spot you can take advantage of cancellations. When we went the reservation policy in the park was very flexible which meant rooms open up as plans change and you can change your own plans.

The thing you need to realize, is that no matter where you stay—you are going to have to travel long distances on slow, crowded roads to get to all of the various sights/hikes/locations (Old Faithful, Prismatic Spring, Grand Canyon, etc.).

I haven’t been there for awhile, but there weren’t any b&bs anywhere near there back then. There was not much of anything near the entrances of the park.

If you’re looking for wildlife, head out for viewing at sunrise and sunset. That’s when the critters are most active.

Two things, based on my extensive experience in National Parks, generally and my limited experience in Yellowstone, in particular:
