The kind of article unthinkable 30 years ago, along the lines of “Rain Is Wet, Umbrellas Exist”

The real answer is to not carry petty grievances. Let that shit slide like water off a duck’s back.

I disagree 1000%

*walks into closet*

Yep, I spot gun stocks.

Same here. I get to work from home a few times a week, which saves me a 120-mile round trip commute. That’s two hours of my life and about $10 in gas every time I do it, which adds up over the course of the year and is especially nice since I often have to work well into the evening. There’s a lot to be said for being

Our little bitty popup just had a cooler. It doesn’t have the 3 way connection. It does have a 3 burner stove with the propane connection on the opposite side of the camper. We usually stay in state parks with electricity. We started getting electric sites even when we stayed in a tent.

I have no opposition to stages this year, but NASCAR needs to do one of two things with them. First option is to shorten down the yellow flag time afterwards, right now it is just too much wasted time.

We live so close to our local hospital, we just walked over for our last little fella. There is a football stadium between us and the hospital and my wife went up and down the stairs for an hour until she was ready.

This is not true. Bonuses and wages are treated exactly the same. Your employer may withhold different amounts between the two, but at the end of the year when you do your taxes they both considered earnings on your taxes.

Better to stalk the local city leaders and rat them out to the cops if they have multiple cars. That law will be repealed very quickly.

I’ve never found any of those “100 pushups” programs to give a realistic schedule, so be aware that it might be the program that’s the problem, not you. But everyone is different so if it works for you, enjoy!

Every single Gizmodo, Jezebel and Splinter writer could stand to read this one.

Rest days are important to proper muscle growth. You’re talking about a small, possibly even a single, push-up every day. But when you get into higher rep ranges you’ll slow down, then stop, and if you ignore the warning signs, actually reverse your progress because of overtraining. I’m doing 200 decline push-ups

I think it also does a disservice to your kids and doesn’t prepare them for the real world, where everyone else isn’t solely focused on fulfilling their needs and wants.

TLDR Version: “Completely anecdotal “study” with no research controls, no scientific methodology, and no clearly defined parameters concludes what the “researchers” went into the study wanting to say.”

I think “give their kids alcohol” is too generic a statement. My parents had a cocktail together every evening, and mom usually had a glass of wine with dinner and a small sherry with her lunch.

Isn’t America an amazing country? Total strangers loaned you enough money that you could buy one of life’s necessities at less than 5% interest.

I cannot speak for non-marriage setups but Mint is a solid plan.

Are you married? Share one login and password on Mint...you can add any account as long as you know the bank login credentials. If you don’t have that level of trust, 1) Mint won’t give the other person your login info in plain text, you can enter it in secret 2) reconsider marriage (seriously)

You think the CEO not buying a vacation home will lead to $15 minimum wage across the board?
