I know the feeling. I finally corralled a bunch of people to watch Parks and Rec last month, and it was a dud episode (they were making jokes about penis-shaped gummies fer cripes sake). They thought I had terrible taste in TV.

Anne Perkins' reaction to Ron's suggestion of Ficus being planted in the backyard instead was golden.
I almost thought this episode answered one pressing question I've had for this show for the last while:
The 4th wall would be them acknowledging they are on a NBC sitcom, the fake documentary is the show's structure. Talking to the camera always breaks the illusion, but I don't think that applies here.
I enjoyed how alarmed they were about Ron Swanson being on TV, because they felt no one would enjoy or watch that sort of thing. Probably the closest to breaking the 4th wall we'll ever see on Parks.
Doing my bit to help this reach 150K!
I think the addition of Bear is brilliant. Previously we just saw Finch sitting alone in the "Watchtower" while Reese interacted with everyone else. Yeah Finch got out into the field once in awhile to change things up, but for the most part he didn't have much to do.

So I'm feeling pretty dumb, but was this old wedding kill featured in an earlier episode? Also does anyone recognize the three faces Dexter pointed out to Deb?

This show fired on all cylinders tonight, probably my favorite episode ever. The cut to Finch dragging the dog bed closer to his desk while he was talking just KILLED me. Had to rewind to hear what he said!

Was hoping for some commentary about how antiquated the Nielsen system is in a digital age. Too high brow maybe?

There was a commercial for the Chrysler 300 that ran too. Was it just me, or did the voice-over for the ad sound like Jonathan Banks (Mike Erhmantraut)?

I really loved the characters on this show. But the ongoing story arcs and toothless villains (like Barlowe) always fizzled and that kills any interest for me in re-watching older episodes.

I have a serious problem with the casting of his ex-wife. I find it hard to believe such a fine black queen would go for a bald bloated ginger. My $0.02
