has a high chance of being serious. if the control software is on windows, programming the xbox 360 controller to control the stuff into it is a matter of minutes. so it's definitely a very good solution. i applaud the one who had the idea. simple, quick to setup, cheap.

I'm asthmatic and can support it, it's a rather peaceful way to die. the only terrible thing is the panic (i got used to it so i don't panic anymore). but for that kid, it had to be the horror.

Do I have the precicion of a mouse? No. Do I have the blind typing speed of a keyboard? No. Do I have the big high resolution screen? No. Do I have the performance? No. Do I have the ability to re-open all the files I've worked on during the last 10 years and continue on them? No.

coverage is an issue in buildings. and if i don't do the deathgrip, i can call just fine. being left-handed, i'm by default holding that thing in the deathgrip way, dropping calls all the time. i always have to hold it in a for me wrong way to be able to take a call.

surrounding something that often gets dropped with GLASS is a dealbreaker, too.

How about putting up Kinect (-like technology) ? So we have some 3d-reconstruction-Data. together with moving picture from driving around that could really help to reconstruct the scene adequate in 3d afterwards.

Indeed, I do that all the time, too. It's awesome. Doesn't work when something's moving, though. Then again, if there ARE aliens on mars, I can accept them to be 2d only, first time.

much more lightweight, much simpler. i payed for trillian but dropped it without a tear (on the desktop that is). now it's the imo.im google chrome app pinned to my taskbar with desktop notifications, and on the phone nothing yet.

I love imo. it's the only thing I miss on my Windows Phone 7. I'd sure test that if i'd have an android phone, it looks nice.

well if the screen sucks, yes. other than that, no. as said, i prefer small (small screen) 3d over big screen 3d massively. the effect is much more pronounced to me (as the screen is close, and thus the perspective differences are stronger without being irritating for the brain.

it's a 3d screen without glasses. i can film in 3d and make 3d photos and everyone can see them.

well, as i use chrome, i can use all the memory of my computer. if ONE TAB has more than 4gb, i'll happily let it crash out of memory. because such a tab is rather crazy. and as ie is multiprocess-designed, too, 64bit is, there, needed only for >4gb PER TAB use cases. which don't happen that often at all (or shouldn't…

because the 64bit version is not ment for the ordinary end user, but for developers. as no plugin works on 64bit ie (no flash, no silverlight, no active x controls that home and business users might need), no one will use it for regular browsing anyways.

because they have no reason to focus on 64bit ie as no addons work on it anyways? that's not the browser customers will use. they have it in there so developers can focus on targeting it in the future.
