@The5thElephant: and no, i have NEVER ever seen an ipad in public yet.
@The5thElephant: and no, i have NEVER ever seen an ipad in public yet.
@The5thElephant: i've specified what laptop i have.
@The5thElephant: it's 12". yours is 10". omg it's such a difference. and btw no, i can just get it out, read something on it, and put it back in again, just like your ipad. but i can use it for other stuff, too, that i could never use an ipad due to lack of physical user interface. haptic matters, massively.
@LegacyCrono: right.. how could i forget?..
@wjbean: until it does have a keyboard (or way to interact that doesn't cover the screen), it's still massively inferior to a laptop. the actual iteration of my laptop (tablet convertible) has multitouch + peninput + keyboard + touchpad + mousenipple (whats it's name?!).
instead of holding the backbutton and then wait, just drag down on the backbutton (or forwardbutton). this lets the dropdown list appear instantly. great when used on a touchscreen, too. swipe-down on the backbutton, and there they are, the old pages.
@Firebert: i guess you could write a user script for that. not that simple, of course.. there should be an addon for that.
@GregtheMad: i just drag the tab outside of the window title bar, which thus creates a new window. then i place them with aero snap to left and right half of the screen. once done, i drag the tab back to the main window tab collection.
@RushinRussian: this is a custom UI tablet. i don't particularly like that custom ui (nor did i like the courier btw), but saying it isn't is lying.
@planetarian: if they're not registered, they could get registered by mcaffee or someone by now. you know, they care about our security, don't they? yeah i know.. i guess it's only a joke.
@WetSkeletonz: something like this: [holodesk.wordpress.com]
who owns the domains that it tries to connect to? i guess they tried to look there for the creator?
@RedRaob: if you do something wrong, that is. like, have a lot of bills to pay, so they can come and take everything in your home till they are payed. but not the tv.
@RoswellMus: point is, we always hear those discussions on how much this or that costs for america, while none is even close to the last 10 years of war.
@WilliamTheFifth: switzerland... damn it :) but sweden is fine, too.. home of the original pirate party :)
@fuzzlemail: it's a human right of freedom of speech. as people today mostly speak over the internet, it's about getting them silenced. and that is, afaik, not legal according to the human rights (but ianal). yes, they can still phone out to someone and exlain it (but maybe those get recorded and canceled, then, too).
here in switzerland, everyone has the right to have a tv. no one is allowed to remove the last tv from your home. it's based on the right to have information.
I'm replacing all my lightsources with leds, just ordered new ones for one of the rooms.
@bohn002: well, yeah.. :) then it doens't work, of course. still nice to know that if you can go to imo, you get all your clients everytime. this was different in the old version, and very annoying at that.
@luckycharms: right, it doesn't.
