@Eddard: well, except if there wouldn't be massive spikes. but it would be better than no internet at all

so.. anyone has a tethering-hack for the kindle? :)
@johnnyabnormal: as long as it's his job, he only sees her with makeup and lighting, so "this guy" still has a great job.
@Jimmy1: and it's mostly just nonsense. i've seen macs crash on stage. and personally, i played on stage with xp, vista beta, vista, vista sp1 beta, win7 beta, win7. with beta drivers, with beta software, etc..
@Jimmy1: there are very few reasons to have a mac, but most musicians are (where?) not techgeeks = the simplicity of "it just works" appealed to them. nowadays, the macs have nearly zero advantages to windows based music setups. in the scenes i'm around, even those that have macs play live on stage while running…
@liftedngifted1: works quite fine. but most APPS are not tablet oriented. that's more of a problem than the os.
@jdale: very nice when you forgot your keyboard then, when you need it..
@Kaiser-Machead: it could be interesting for electronic musicians. there, the horse power + the big touchscreen could be a nice combination.
@davepermen: (at least all of those that care enough about security so they could consider enabling the fingerprint-lock for usb-ports)
@Liam: which can simply not be done if the system has a password for custom boots, as about all have.
I've reconfigured WMC to my needs, it's quite flexible actually.
@SecretMoblin: indeed, looks awesome
@Liam: well, if they stole it most likely they have to login. to do so, they need the fingerprint. i'm curious of the cases where i want someone to be able to access my system but not my usb ports.
@Liam: what for, exactly?
@zaghy2zy: you are a minority on the web. do all your non-geek friends have multiple passwords? your family? etc.
@zaghy2zy: nobody has different passwords everywhere. so better to just trust one place than to have to trust every place individually.
@zaghy2zy: but your openid is stored by a password system of your choice, lifehacker/gawker would just get a grant to your account when you post. they don't verify, nor store your password. they ask your openid server if the user is fine, and that server verifies. a bit like facebook connect, but with a server of your…
@ochee_: who said they haven't tried yet? it's all on schedule.
@Please Help Me: well, with this you can get a 2.5" ordinary hdd and in a tiny place, get space for that one. as this port will be more and more popular (spread trough netbooks mainly, but available without the sata connections on about EVERY laptop since years), you can then pimp your laptop easily.
@jwardell: mp4 is an universal audio format that is used and supported on most hw now and all in the future. those aac files are just mp4.
