@delos: I get your point, I just think it's a ridiculous point. The odds are much more likely you die from walking across the street than dying in a plane crash. Unless there is significant data proving otherwise it is just plain stupid to put useless restrictions on passengers.

At least cell phones have the excuse of actually sending and receiving electromagnetic signals that make it seem like they might cause interference. Having to turn off ALL electronics during takeoff and landing just bugs the hell out of me. My phone in airplane mode is perfectly fine to be on for me to read some

@delos: If you are that concerned about dying, you're already screwed having a mobile phone. Someone calling you gives you a .00001% chance that you'll not pay attention to something that is going to kill you.

@ImSpartacus: Unfortunately for me Pandora found songs I like, and decided to keep looping the same songs rather than finding me new songs I might be interested in so I slowly stopped using it.

@Geraldo Rivera's Mustache: The solution is to set up different playlists based on your different moods, and select them accordingly.

@cosmic Wy: Aside from her comment, what's wrong is how annoying it is. Coincidentally, that's also what's wrong with all Modest Mouse songs.

My sharing is mostly done through Google Reader. Only occasionally will I post to Facebook, mostly because I trust Google more than Facebook.

I think the real winners are the carriers who go from charging cheap rates to dumbphones to expensive smartphone contracts.

@jepzilla: LaCrosse Iceman boots are Real Winter boots, for those days you need to sit outside ice fishing all day while keeping your feet warm.

@lvlln: A gigantic nuclear furnace

Oh no! I'm no longer Taurus! I'm no longer consistent or stable!

Isn't this a repost from New Years Day or Christmas? (my memory fails me)

Is that Federal Pound you in the ass prison?

I don't care about the announcement I just want the "irresistible culinary creations and cocktails"

My Droid's all right with me, Once LTE is in my area and my contract's up I'll consider whatever phones are available then, but most likely will stick with the Android platform.

@chitowntrav: Who cares, I have never once needed to access data while on a phone call. And society is moving towards VoIP anyways, who needs a separate voice channel, make it all data all the time.

@nosebleed: Glad I wasn't the only one who's first thought was this game.

Flame On!

Maybe they're just late to the party and are still setting up? Giving a generous benefit of the doubt.
