Without giving away plot points, there were one or two moments when I stopped and thought "hang on a minute" - the reason for the AC's predicament and Tate's logic? Odd.
I skimmedover the humour first time around, so fair point.
The thing is, the BBC is funded by the license fee (which is effectively a tax to watch television in the UK). We paid for it, so we get to watch it first, is basically the deal.
Did I mention it also travels in time?
@Vortal_Bondage: I only needed to get a good look at the guy's face to realise it was a spoof - he doesn't even look Turkish. And yeah, the arabic was a dead giveaway.
@zero gravitas: What's more disturbing was the kid at the Doctor Who exhibition in Glasgow using the full-size Dalek shell to scream "YOU WILL BE PENETRATED!"
Could he not afford a couple of sets of extra sleeves, then?
@crashedpc /sarcasm: I really need to get a better set of night vision goggles...
Where the hell does Spidey get his costumes made, anyway? Did Edna Mode start up an Etsy shop?
@TheDarkWayne: Try the Neil Gaiman short story "The Monarch of the Glen".
I'm tempted to quote Sigourney Weaver in Aliens.
Meredith, I hate to be nitpicky, but Primeval is not a BBC show - BBC America cherry-picks UK shows for you guys from all the channels it can. It's actually an ITV production.
@FabDex: No, Nic Cage has inflicted crappy movies on the world, last time I checked that didn't make him a douche bag.
@tammygarrison: He really did have to die. The jumpsuit on its own made him a candidate for death.
@sneakypoo: We Scots just wish it was in Sweden...
@andrew_berge's lawyer: You ever seena flock of Starlings? Those things can have close to a million birds all following the same path. You don't need thick power lines when there are that many birds.
@Dr. Grizzly: I really wish I hadn't read that as a euphemism. Especially as I'm now idly speculating as to what, exactly, "a screening of Zorro" is actually a euphemism for.
You have all the best tags, Meredith.
I pretty much love everything of Gilliam's, but that leaves me a little colder than I'd expected it too. Maybe an animation style closer to Belleville Rendezvous would work better?
