You've probably never seen a 'real DJ' spin vinyl. It is very much an art form. They are creating their own mix on the fly. I think it's great when an DJ can take a song you know and make it their own by mixing in other beats. They can take a song from the past and make it 'modern'. And again, they do this LIVE.

Uh, I'm gunna say this: if you go to a club to "see" a DJ, you're doing it wrong. The job of a DJ is to make a party happen by playing awesome music. That's it. There is no such thing as a "DJ performance".
