fruit flies giving us performance-improving algorithms? Why can fruit flies be as hot as this algorithm?

I did this just last week. Although the install went mostly smooth (I had to reinstall iopenboot once), the end result is not ready for use yet. To be fair, I was warned it wasn't. The battery life on my 3g lasted only 2 hours. The keyboard was a bit laggy, nowhere as clean as iOS.

I updated to 4.0 via itunes, then used redsn0w, and then ran cydia for ultrasn0w and all works for my tmobile.
