I'd return $221,000. Out of the half million that was there to start with. 'What, no, I never counted it before I handed it in to the security office...'

I don't think it's a 'tip' for tax purposes the same way a normal tip on top of a fare would be. I have no idea if a reward is taxed - and since this wasn't offered in advance, it may not even count as a reward, just a gift.
Yes, you can build a car to run over kerbs unscathed. Or, you could build it to go round corners without hitting the kerbs. I know which solution I prefer.
"The Mog isn't supposed to be a car. Reliant is."
Is it just my imagination, or have they actually made the front windows bigger on the first pic there of the wagon?
Oh, and your 6 Flags comment reminded me of an out-of-season family holiday to Malta when I was a kid, when my dad thrashing the rental convertible Land Rover (with benches in the back) was way more fun than the pitiful little Popeye theme park we visited in it.
I think the Mog beats the Robin hands-down in the impracticality stakes. The Reliant Robin andles terribly, of course, and slow enough that really long trips would be a real pain, but it has a roof, doors, 4 seats, and proper luggage space - for a small car it's very good in that regard.
I'm always too busy marvelling at just how much any X6 looks like it was shat out by an elephant to notice if it's an X6M...
Impractical and ugly, I'll grant you - but in that case how can it be boring as well? I'm sure it's not particularly entertaining as a drivers' car, but it's probably rather entertaining to drive it around with the roof down (if being stared-at is your idea of entertaining). And as my grandmother would say, being ugly…
Funnily enough I've been thinking exactly the same thing. XJ-S Coupe with a modern engine that doesn't break down all the time and brakes that work? Yes please.
Eh? Where do you get that price? A base Caterham is <£15k as a kit, or £18k built - with an engine, gearbox and wheels included in the price either way.
Oh, well do let everyone know when you work out how to grow wheat, rice, and so-on without any cellulose in the plant. Animals are predominantly fed on byproducts of growing food for humans, or on grass and other vegetation grown on land unsuitable for growing human-edible crops.
No, you misunderstood how the process works. There are always going to be a lot of byproducts from farming grain and vegetables because humans can't digest cellulose. Animals can, and they then turn it into meat which humans can digest. Feeding cattle grain (long-term) which could be eaten by humans is, on a global…
OK, but who's going to pick the billion or so people currently living to starve to death when we make the switch? Are you volunteering to be one of the pickers? How about one of the starvers? Animal products and meat are vital to subsistence farmers, which should be a big wake-up call to you: there are lots of things…
This is real life, not a Hollywood film. Even if you knocked the tap off an LPG tank and put a lighted match to the opening, it's not going to explode any more readily than a petrol tank given the same treatment.
We all speak the same language - you in your way, and we in the correct way.
You suck at life.
Any girl (or boy, whatever floats your boat) who thinks that's not a good reason to be late for a date doesn't deserve to have a date.
