I remember all of my controllers being wonky, and all of my friends always were too. No matter where we were, it was a race to get the working joystick before anyone else

I believe you mean "bumpers". I'm not sure how you find it to be a chore though, my index fingers lay directly on them.

It is FAR easier on Android. I did it constantly. I don't want the hassle of jailbreaking my iPhone, so I don't do it on this platform. Does not mean I am dumb.

Or, developers prefer an easier platform to develop for, whereas they don't have to test compatibility with 400 phones. And the fact Android is so wide open, I could type any game in TPB and have it on my phone for free in minutes.
