Maybe it did, maybe it didn't. Either way, pitchers get HRs hit off then all the time...I'm sure it's annoying to them, because they obviously don't want to give them up, but getting out of a bases-loaded jam, regardless of who it's against at the plate, has simply got to be a great feeling for the pitcher.

I get that. And I'd probably do the same thing given the right moment. It just seems like Ortiz, in particular, does it more often than other players. There's a difference between confidence and cockiness...the former being preferable.

Good for him. But what I really want to know is what YOU think of me...please, I'm dying to know!

P.S. I'm not really dying to know. I couldn't care less.

And all I'm saying is that there is a lack of players...rookies and veterans alike...that have no clue how to act like the game they're playing isn't, in fact, all about them. Just because you make millions and can afford to be a jerk, doesn't mean you HAVE to be a jerk.

1. It was my mistake for not using quotations around "equivalent", to imply that as a simple, at-first-glance, type of comparison. The pitcher was in trouble of letting a number of runs cross the plate, he got out of it. It's not that hard to understand.

2. Thank you for your simple-minded, "totally moronic" attempt at

I can forgive Archer's showboating because it meant something at that particular moment...he got the 3rd out of the inning and got out of a bases-loaded jam. That's almost like a (non-closing) pitcher's equivalent of a walk off. In contrast, Ortiz's home run and subsequent bat flip/showboating was simply a 3rd inning

I didn't flip.

I want my money back.

I actually saw a Tesla today with a license plate that said, "GAS WHO".

(my bad, it was 65mm, not 70.)

(my bad, it was shot in 65mm, not 70.)

It was shot in 70mm (if memory serves), not 4K. The film was later scanned and remastered in 8K, then scaled down to the 1080p that ended up on the Blu-Ray.
