That’s not true. From roughly 1993 to 2010, UW routinely played the strongest schedules in the nation, and never got any credit for it. This year, they go with the cupcakes and are, more or less, being rewarded for it.

Not that it really matters, but in the NBA and NFL, players must apply for the draft. MLB teams can arbitrarily select anyone, with their consent or not; which is that NCAA’s rationale to not allow drafted players in those two sports, vis-a-vis baseball.
