Agreed, as much as I love my GTI and showed my immediate family you don’t need a truck to haul lumber around, I’d rather have a wagon of some sort if I had kids and the whole nine yards.

They should be manual drive cars with the option of auto-pilot, not the other way around, and the computer should take logs when it is or isn’t the computer driving in the case of accidents.
