Depends on which era of Superman though.

It’s strange, but at least he’s not being evil again for the six billionth time because of lazy writing.
The only thing missing would be a new Golden Sun
As someone who lived off of the GBA as a kid, the direct was a feast. New 2-D Metroid (Fusion best Metroid), Wario Ware coming back, and then ADVANCED FREAK’N WARS??? It was a good day.

I was thinking the same thing. Big budget games are where comics were in the 90's, every character is over-designed, with 27 belts, pouches, and 100 layers of clothing.
that’s Bruce Timm’s creepy ship. Without Paul Dini to stop him that’s what he does
That was, uh, an anemic as hell showcase, huh? Games we already knew were coming. A half-hearted “You can have some DLC, I guess” RE announcement. Ten minutes of Ace Attorney Chronicles gameplay that reaaaaallly didn’t show off what is fun about the AA games. What? Why? What is happening over there?
You’re assuming anyone at Warner Bros. cares about the comic book portion of their empire.
Wonder Woman: “Don’t you ever wish you were down there?”
It’s weird to say, but...Batman canonically fucks. Like, most of Tom King’s run on Batman is showing that Batman Fucks, and that Catwoman Loves It. It’s weird that they’d draw this line when King is out here writing a whole ass miniseries about Batman and Catwoman just going to town on one another. Sure other stuff…
You’d think at least one of these assholes would own it. Like, drop the, “I love my LGBTQ fans” bit and be straightforward: you don’t think their civil and human rights are as important as your free market, or your low taxes, or your family values. Their money and praise is just fine, but everything else about them is…
Looks just as awful as Discount Avengers.
To be fair, the competition wasn’t exactly super-compelling.
I agree with you, and yet apparently this is the game gamers deserve:
Yep. This would have benefitted 100% from being cell shaded or retro inspired. The realism just makes it worse
...I have never been feeling the quote “You idiots, you’ve captured their stunt doubles!” than watching this stuff.
And of course Star-Lord is the playable character according to the demo they ran. Because why wouldn’t the most generic option possible be the correct one?
they definitely do, i’m not sure i’d have shown this personally it looks like the exact kind of movie tie-in game from the past that you knew would be bad.
I wish they’d just go with the comics versions of the characters or somehow get the legal red tape figured out and make them like the MCU. Like with The Avengers, these are all just close yet far enough to their movie counterparts to be super off-putting.
