Original Maxima? 2000's? I mean, They’ve been at the Maxima since before I was born, and back when Datsun was still a thing, but they really got proper 4DSC cred in the early 90's, when they put Taurus SHO performance in something that looks like Henchman 24's Stanza.

When you can buy an AWD top of the line Altima for less than the base Maxima, people will buy the Altima, even if it has less power. If they want more power and luxury, they’d just step it up to the Q50. The Maxima has been in a weird place for years, and I’m surprised it even lasted all the way to an 8th gen.

Unsurprising, considering that the Altima has ballooned to Maxima size, and is easier to sell because it’s cheaper. It was getting harder and harder to tell which was a Maxima and Altima as the generations went by anyway. And if someone MUST have a luxurious Nissan sedan, Infiniti still exists.

An MG that relies 100% on electronics? What could possibly go wrong?!

They have a straight 6 with more power coming, why would they bother using the HEMI?

Another political piece on what used to be a great car site. No matter what your politics are this used to be a place people could come together and read about cars. Now most articles are divisive clickbait. Erin you seem to miss the point of this site and aren't welcome here.

Air Canada — I spent 24 full hours trying to get from Dublin to Charlotte — delayed flights, luggage delays, customs delays — only to end up in Atlanta and still had to shell out for a hotel, extend the dog’s care, and rent a car to get home.

That limo wasn’t even used on January 6. They were in a Suburban.

ehhh just because they died doing something incredibly stupid and reckless doesn’t mean they weren’t people who also had positive qualities,  as well as loved ones that’ll miss them. Two things, can be true, after all. A fatality can be both a sad event, and a product of incredible stupidity.

As the reply always goes, freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom from consequences.

The point is that it’s pretty rich for someone to talk about how they’re such a free speech advocate, then fire people for criticizing them in public.

I don’t even like Elon Musk, but this article is “journalist brain” at its worst.

I am concerned about the connivence stores.

This is a simple fix. Have one or two examples of a vehicle for test drives and viewing. And have a place where boomers can sit down with someone and order the vehicle the want.

“To fill a low spot, shovel the sand, no more than about an inch or two deep, into the area. It’s best to maintain the lawn normally until the grass has grown on top of the first layer. Repeat until the low spot is filled.

The Chevy Nova SS396.

yep 1989 baby!

If I was the engine-swapping sort (and I am definitely not), I would put one of these in my Spitfire. 25% more power than my already breathed on engine, 2500% better soundtrack.

I mean just in the past 2 months a giant European conflict and renewed Chinese lockdowns have happened. Neither of them were really foreseen.

Those aren’t pillows!!!
