I had sympathy for her up until this. He contacted an underage girl. He doesn’t care about other people. He is a predator. Now she is deciding to get involved with a predator because he was “under pressure.”

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Isn’t he plugging the product of a for-profit business entity in that tweet?

The warring factions in the GOP is seriously giving me life right now.

Trump isn’t throwing shade. He’s openly throwing Ryan under a bus.

Martha Stewart Weddings says it’s custom Siriano, which I was super excited to confirm because that was my first guess. Follow him on insta; it’s like dress porn.

Holy shit. That wedding jumpsuit is gorgeous. Any details on it?

I saw this on People’s website (don’t judge me) and sure enough, after like the first 5 comments there was one lady saying “this is not a marriage, they can’t consummate it because marriage is between a man and a woman”.

Dear god, they KILLED it with the wedding dresses. They both look completely angelic.

Mostly the melody. Why singers want to wrap ugly material in beautiful trapping is beyond me. Sarah McLachlan’s “Angel” is about heroin overdose, wake up sheeple*!

mr. lurker and I at one point had a “stalkers, pedophiles and deviants wedding playlist” all planned out. You really can put a sizable list together of things that seem to end up on wedding DJ playlists that you really shouldn’t want playing on your wedding day.

Ditto for “Fortunate Son” being some hooray-I’m-American like their misinterpretation of Born in the USA. “Some folks are born made to wave the flag / Ooh, they’re red, white and blue” ... why, this is a good heartwarming song!

“Tears in Heaven” is the one that gets me. It’s about his kid dying. It’s not a love song you should have as your first dance at your wedding.

I’ve been to two weddings where the groom’s surname was Jones and both of them had their first dance to well-known adulterers’s anthem, Me and Mrs Jones. People. Do. Not. Listen.

I was perusing The Knot today and they recommended Danzig’s “Mother” as a great mother/son dance, as well as “Mother” by Pink Floyd. It’s as if they just typed the word mother into Spotify without actually listening to them.

And the people who dedicate Pearl Jam’s cover of Last Kiss to their sweetie on the radio. The girl dies. That’s the point.

Also- Every Breath You Take.

I’m convinced that a large percentage of the population has poor listening comprehension.

I’m not super-thrilled about the proposed legislation, to be honest. It requires the name AND ADDRESS of all victims to be “divulged to campus leaders” which seems a bit troubling and vague and unlikely to encourage people to come forward. That, coupled with the criminal penalties for failure to report, seems likely

It’s great that this is being brought to light.
