My always sober wife has a theory that Turtle Mitch waaaaaaay frauded his way to his victory, which is why he has been relatively quiet the last few days. I agree; I can easily see Mitch being competent enough that his rat-fuckery is well obfuscated.

This. Yes, I am thrilled. But....Trump won in 2016 with 63 million votes. He lost this year with 70 million votes.

My siblings and I got a modest allowance as kids, probably $5-10 a week each. Once my older sis and I had reached our early teenage years we took a page from the UAW playbook and collective bargained for $20 per week, which our younger sister surely appreciated.

Reminds me of something I once read where a kid had saved up like $20 to buy some toy, his dad took him to the store to get the thing, and when the cashier said the total with tax - $21.05 or whatever instead of $20 even - the dad MADE HIM PUT THE TOY BACK AND LEAVE to ‘teach him a lesson about taxes.’

You don’t think there is a certain overlap or relationship between peoples’ personal disposition and their voting behavior?

A Trump-supporting teenage kid with a rifle crossed state lines and murdered innocents who were protesting extrajudicial killing of black Americans.

“It concludes with an unrelated but unsubtle political message: “TRUMP 2020.”

“Loris said he’s a Trump supporter . . .”

The same people that argue being tolerant means you have to tolerate their intolerance. Classy bunch.

Ah yes, conservatives. The folks who champion personal responsibility until that responsibility is “don’t be a prick.” Then it’s everyone else’s fault for being annoyed or upset at their behavior.

Why haven’t I see a single mention of Trump saying “Good” when Biden brought up the fact that Trump’s administration can’t find the parents for over 500 kids at the border? I was absolutely shocked to hear that; Trump actually said the quiet part out loud, and no one is reporting on it.

Yeah I don’t get the several mentions of Welker not using the mute button as some weird attack on her moderating (moderation?) skills... It’s literally been public information for how long that SHE WOULDN’T BE IN CONTROL OF THE FUCKING BUTTON! Stop putting this on her! She did fab, and this is sloppy journalism.

Anyone else disgusted by Drumpf responding “Good!” after Biden was talking about immigrant kids not being able to be reunited with their parents? This tosspot and the monsters who worship him better reap what they sow.

Far left, that’s cute. Americans don’t have a far left.

You look at this too... well... seriously. It’s not about her playing a video game that shows she’s a good politician. She’s making a connection to those viewers, by showing interest in something they enjoy. She’s showing that she’s a normal person, not some pompous elitist. And through that, she’s more easily able to

I’m absolutely sick and tired of politics right now, and Twitch is one of the places I go to escape it all.”

She’s playing on her own time and on her own dime, unlike the guy whose golf outings are literally costing taxpayers millions.

“Radical Left Omar and AOC spend evening murdering people. Are they coming for your neighborhood next?” -Fox and Friends, tomorrow morning

AOC is a goddamned national treasure. Unabashedly progressive, kicked moderate ass in her elections, calls Republicans on their bullshit, skillfully claps back when they try to attack her, and she somehow successfully managed to merge political awareness with Twitch in a way that didn’t feel forced or scripted? In my

My working theory is that nice people are usually really good at playing deceptive roles, because they spend a large portion of their lives telling people what they want to hear to avoid conflict.

Same thing goes for retail/service workers. Being paid to be nice really teaches you about the human condition, lmao.

According to his twitter, the union fought for him to be able to retain the IP, so yay for that.
