Yes, who will boys look up to now? It’s not like there are that many powerful male figures in entertainment, especially in the sci-fi realm. WON’T SOMEONE THINK OF THE BOY CHILDREN?!?

The quote about needing childcare and schools killed me, because even if you just wanted to be a cold-hearted pragmatist, I’m fairly certain that a daycare would make far more money and last longer than yet another hipster NYC bar.
The United States doesn’t have a draft? So what was that Selective Service paperwork I had to fill out within 30 days after I turned 18?
>The Unites States doesn’t have a draft.
Credit to him (or his publicist) for framing it in terms of “I wasn’t fired, I quit because I’m too good for them”.

Is it true you guys come out of the womb with a cigarette in one hand and a can of Aquanet in the other?
Amen to that. Dating violence and the That’s not Love campaign need to be taught in schools over this Stranger Danger crap. The boogeyman (or woman) is usually known to you and not a stranger. Teaching kids what to look out for and when to run for the hills is so important.
My mom and I were just talking about this this morning in re: abused women who kill their husbands but are sentenced to prison because the threat wasn’t “imminent”. Mainly that they wait until there’s a lull (for lack of a better word) in the abuse. Depressing as fuck. It makes me actively angry thinking about it.
Nope. It’s just a way to justify shit behavior.
And it’s not like they do a fucking thing for male victims.
This. I keep coming across MRAs online that insist that women are just a violent as men, if not worse, by citing flawed research that does not take into account stalking or violence that happens after the relationship is over. Because you know men take the end of a relationship much better than women and are often…
Damn. Talk about confirming a depressing-but-not-surprising reality....
It takes a lot of balls to threaten and insult the FBI, the NSA and the CIA to their faces, then practically DARE them to ‘come at me, bro.’
There’s a reason everyone was scared to fuck with J. Edgar for years.
Now, now... sure, an energized press is a dangerous thing for a potentially very corrupt public figure... but let’s give some credit to Trump’s utter contempt for U.S. intelligence agencies, too.
For me (this is just me) if I saw you getting your picture taken standing somberly by the Wall, I’m thinking (somberly is key word here) “This guy is getting his picture taken by a moving, poignant piece of history and he’s absorbing it”. (I’ve been there, it made me cry).
Fine with selfies in general, but I have seen a family take an all-smiles pictures of their kids in front of Dachau’s gate, like it was Disneyland, and that did feel inappropriate. The couple was interracial, so it’s not like they were neo-nazis or anything, but it was weirdly tone deaf at the very least.
What a coinkydink! They have.
He’s caught, he knows it, but he can’t keep his mouth shut. From last weekend’s NYT interview. Bear in mind, Trump offered this weird non sequitur up without any context. [emphasis, mine.]
