Uhm, my perspective is clearly different. I thought the satire of both the "extreme" tourism trend and the historical reenactment nonsense was pitch perfect!
Any packaged 'tour' sucks.
I think Matt & Trey crushed it.
Making mock of tourons should be appreciated and revered!

Rectum? Nearly (?) killed him.
RIP Alfonso.

HBO and horses, not a good combo.

I see Catelyn returning to Riverrun after her Renly visit ends.
If Jaime were in Riverrun, he would be nonexistent this season as he was in the book. This bit of license keeps him in the show and offers the opportunity for more Robb & Kingslayer scenes. A good trade.

When one reads the first paragraph one cannot help but think one was distracted when one was watching.
Then one peruses the second paragraph and one realizes when one lacks sleep one should expect Demons in the Hospital.
Onto the ultimate paragraph. One, excited to see an old friend, apparently should have known ones

Risperdal !

I hope your day job is wonderful and fulfilling.

This is the episode of Californication I've been waiting 3 years for. A classic episode.
If the last 2 minutes didn't happen, I'd say an all timer. Oh yea, and Hanks mullet extensions.

I don't take Shameless seriously as a familial drama. I view it as an absurd comedy.
If I watched with a critical eye, I would've stopped watching long ago. The characters could/do not exist in reality. I don't think that's the intention. Perhaps I'm mistaken but, every single one is a caricature, an exaggeration of

I think the moral to this season's events was summed up best by Chalky (in a past life).
"When you come at the King, you best not miss".

Theory Time.
Estes is the Mole. This allows Carrie, with Sauls help, to come back for season 2.
Brody detonates. Homeland is about the CIA, Carrie, Saul …
A shame to lose Damien Lewis, but …

All good fun with the Shakespeare subtext until No-One Dies. Clay HAD to die. Gemma perhaps, but better for the show's tension if she lives. If you would have told me my favorite character in the finale would be Linc, I'd have laughed in your face. The joke, it seems, is on me.

Right! Why not kill Clay? The Irish would have left?

I wanted to like Boss. I tried to like Boss. The Creators or Writers of Boss either blackmailed Starz, or they believe their audience is stupid. The only character who has ANY plausibility is Ezra. It's like some 20 year old read Machiavelli and Shakespeare Cliffs Notes, pitched it to his just out of film school

You mean Emma the Clinic Doctor/Minister/CrackHead/Crack Whore?

I love the premise as well. So much potential. I had given up on Torchwood, then came The Children of Earth marketing campaign. I got sucked in and was pleasantly surprised. So much could have been forgiven if they delivered on the premise with Miracle Day. Based on the finish, did this get renewed?

The finish reminded me why I watched. The other 85% reminded me why I often regretted my choice. I only hope this series does not end as absurdly as the past 4 (5?) seasons.
