I can’t tell if you’re happy or sad about that, but I think it’s damn refreshing (for Final Fantasy). I’ve mostly enjoyed Tetsuya Nomura’s character design over the years (more so when I was younger), but holy shit can that man over-accessorise and over-customise the clothing of characters sometimes.

What I thought of immediately looking at that face...

I haven’t even bought an FOB yet, haven’t played the mission where they are unlocked. Doing a quick google search, looks like plots cost over 1000MB coins. I’ve been playing for a solid amount of time now, and I think I haven’t even cracked 200MB coins. Do they become more plentiful later on, or would I have to buy

Um, so no dialogue driven exposition then?

I reckon they’s spice it up with aliens/ancient advanced civilisations or cave man magic.

That’s a shame, loved Samurai Champloo, had some top quality animation and a decent story. But what’s the appeal of Gangsta? I watched the first 2 or 3 episodes I think, as I’d seen lots of praise for it, it felt like it was gearing up to be a typical overpowered anti-hero goes up against increasingly tough opponents.

Cockwomble is another good one.

Who’s the artist that made this? They’re bloody good!

I like the cartoonish running style, lifting the arms up high as they run. Very fitting, much humour.

3 hours? What games are you watching?

Disagree, at this size (on desktop, anyway) there’s lots of thin bits on certain characters, like an ‘e’ at skimming speed can resemble a ‘c’. Just makes it unpleasant to look at.

Good God, I want this game like a fat kid wants this game. BUT I HAVE SO MUCH WITCHER 3 LEFT. Too many good video games to play is truly a first world problem.

I’ll have the Sneaking Soup followed by the Fox Pie, s’il vous plait.

Is this a 3D render disguised as a pencil line drawing? My brain isn’t sure.

Nuts, I can only spend a few hours a week on it at the moment because of adult responsibilities and all that bullshit. Oh well, Snake will have to wait.

*twitches*

I’m still in Novigrad, trying to find Dandelion. How far into the game am I? It’s just, MGS5 isn’t far off now...and I needs that.

These challenges so far sound difficult because he’s grappling with an awkward way of of making inputs. How about something that makes it physically challenging, like using a Dance Dance Revolution mat, type thing?

It does need to be changed, I just hope Nomura doesn’t mess with the character designs too much. They’ll need more detail due to the graphical fidelity available, but give that man an inch and he tends to wrap a belt on it and make it a highly customised, convoluted mess.
