Who’s the artist that made this? They’re bloody good!

I like the cartoonish running style, lifting the arms up high as they run. Very fitting, much humour.

3 hours? What games are you watching?

Disagree, at this size (on desktop, anyway) there’s lots of thin bits on certain characters, like an ‘e’ at skimming speed can resemble a ‘c’. Just makes it unpleasant to look at.

Good God, I want this game like a fat kid wants this game. BUT I HAVE SO MUCH WITCHER 3 LEFT. Too many good video games to play is truly a first world problem.

I’ll have the Sneaking Soup followed by the Fox Pie, s’il vous plait.

Is this a 3D render disguised as a pencil line drawing? My brain isn’t sure.

Nuts, I can only spend a few hours a week on it at the moment because of adult responsibilities and all that bullshit. Oh well, Snake will have to wait.

*twitches*

I’m still in Novigrad, trying to find Dandelion. How far into the game am I? It’s just, MGS5 isn’t far off now...and I needs that.

These challenges so far sound difficult because he’s grappling with an awkward way of of making inputs. How about something that makes it physically challenging, like using a Dance Dance Revolution mat, type thing?

It does need to be changed, I just hope Nomura doesn’t mess with the character designs too much. They’ll need more detail due to the graphical fidelity available, but give that man an inch and he tends to wrap a belt on it and make it a highly customised, convoluted mess.

This is a confusing one. Blue water yet no blue sky to reflect?

Cool idea...but as a result that design looks sooooo 90’s. The 90’s aren’t old enough to be retro/cool yet, imho.

I find myself having to guard the goal because very few people seem to be willing to do that, but it can make such a difference to the scoreline and flow of the game.

Respectfully both disagree and agree. The gameplay was a slog, but not in a badly designed way. I thought it reflected the nature of the story extremely well, that’s what really made this game excel for me. After slowly making my way through another tense, zombie infested area, I felt mentally exhausted, which I guess

Will Kotaku being a doing a ‘best of’ EVO article, type thing? I only managed to watch a few of the early fights live.

Yoji Shinkawa. Ashley Wood did some Metal Gear comics, I don’t think he did any box art. Not that I’m aware of anyways.

I mean, obviously there’s much more going on then that, but most of it is a ball ache to wade through. I get disgruntled just thinking about some of the cut-scenes in 4...
