Reading for comprehension really isn’t your strong suit, is it?

Laura Ingraham compared her to Stephen King’s Children of the Corn

Somehow, this piece of info was barely a blip in the DM article:

You’ll be in the bathroom one night with the dark hallway behind you. You rise up from splashing water on your face and in the mirror you see her shadowy figure in the darkness.

The best I can work out:

“Behind every regulation is a psychopathic murderous dwarf.”

That’s a lot to lay on the tiny shoulders of a child. Do you feel this much “ire” every time you see a white girl with a messy bun? All children look unkempt after running around and playing all day, but only Black children get maligned as a disgrace to their entire race for doing what kids do. Can they ever just live

I recently saw a buzzfeed or Twitter slide show of before and after school shots and the kids (of all races) looked like they had gone through a tornado by 3pm. Pristine braids gone, outfits stained and ripped, lopsided hairdos, etc. Kids are magnets for mess.

Yeah, no, I cannot compute feeling “ire” at ever seeing a little girl who looks like this or having the nerve to compare this hairstyle—which looks like the girl just got out of soccer practice for fuck’s sake—to minstrel imagery.

They all look so cute because they look LIKE KIDS. No child is going to sit still enough to have perfectly kempt hair everyday. I wish more people would just log off.

It’s not fair that some little girls can wake up in the morning & throw their hair in a ponytail or throw on a headband & out they go. But god forbid you’re a little black girl & do that. Leave little kids alone to not be stressed out about their dang hair! It’s hair damn it!!!!!

I feel so bad for this girl being scrutinized in public like this. What are people thinking?

She has beautiful hair. What b.s. society is.

The concern is more on the stage of flight when the descent occurs, but yeah, no big deal. It seems like there was ample time for the pilots to let the passengers in on the reason. Probably they did and some worried passengers were too overcome by emotion to hear it. Not tough to say “Plane is fine, pilots are fine,

Scary indeed. But losing 29,000 feet in 7 minutes is about 4143 feet/minute. That is a healthy descent rate for sure but is not in the category of a “dive”. On a regular basis we descend at 3500 feet/minute (737 pilot, major airline) so 4200 feet/min isn’t extraordinary.

Would you be questioning it if the roles were reversed?

I would also like to point out that the FB ads for this company popping up in my feed constantly tout their inclusive size range. It wasn’t until recently that they carried more than two styles above 40, and it’s still limited. Their touted “1/2 size” range phases out above a B cup around 36 as well.

Trying to justify it by saying these are “industry-standard established ranges based on experience” is especially fucked-up, given the strength of their resumes. He had one movie screenwriting credit and one “story by” credit prior to Crazy Rich Asians. She’d been writing for television for two decades. It’s a flimsy

Good for her! She finally gets to be part of a national conversation that has been about her and at her, but not with her.

Politically incorrect opinion coming up, but hear me out.
