It would suck if the KOTOR remake gets cancelled, because there’s not any reason that it can’t be made, the only reason it would fail is due to incompetence.

Oh no, what a loss...
Do you have that with you everywhere you go? I have a phone controller thing too, but I only take it with me (maybe) on a trip and even then it goes in a bag.
Does anyone actually want to play a game like that on their phone? History has shown that people want more casual, easy to use with a touchscreen type games. Games that require a controller don’t translate well to a touchscreen.
Going to repeat again, while the cost of development is indeed much higher, so are their profits.
I can’t imagine how their DRM actually works, and supposedly it could work with existing games built with the engine which means it’s been there for a while. Makes that a bit complicated with an EULA because as a developer I agree to the EULA Unity requires to use the software. But I don’t have to have a EULA for the…
No, that’s not good enough. I don’t want their DRM running on my projects. If they can’t give info on what’s included in the engine that performs that tracking and how it works then no. They can fuck off with that shit. I had plans for a project I would have likely done with Unity. But there’s no way I’d do that now.
It’s because the game is very big and has lots of items and things to do, but most of those things are stuff you should ignore, it’s hard to find the things that are worth your time.
From many Digital Foundry reviews there’s quite a few releases that had significant downgrades for the Series S
I would hope it’s a bit better than Xbox One/PS4 considering since the Switch wasn’t too far off from those systems in the first place.
I guess my ad blocker works better than yours, Yay Me!
Right, I would have been interested if they had a big Summer 2022 trailer and released in in June
Good for you!
They hardly did any advertising for the game, I didn’t know it existed until shortly before it released. The marketing gave the impression like they didn’t care that much about it.
By the way, from the update, it’s no OK if the fees are instead charged to Microsoft! How likely will they want to be to fund/support an indie game if it uses Unity and if it does well enough it can cost Microsoft thousands?!? Tying a fee to the number of installs is so fucking stupid.
Honestly, I don’t mind this kind of upsale. If you want to waste $10 or more to play a few days early, that’s fine for you but I have no problem waiting a bit and not getting any worse of an experience. If the worst consequence is seeing all the articles about playing it before it releases so be it, I’ll dry my tears…
I guess I’m not surprised about this kind of shit, considering the CEO of Unity was previously CEO of EA
It’s very likely that if he had been using one model without legal permission that he used others too (look at it, it has a lot of junk). If there are other ones that he didn’t have the rights to use it’s very possible that the owners aren’t aware.
I couldn’t remember when that book took place. Since we know so little about Baylan I can’t say it’s too strange for him to know, plus he knows so much other things about Ahsoka/Sabine so I don’t feel like it would be all that surprising to know that Anakin is Vader.
I don’t think Anakin is a Force Ghost or anything like that, I’m assuming that’s actually him and he pulled Ahsoka there like Ezra did in Rebels.
