No, the developer gets a percentage, so if the game makes more money then the developer makes more money. Also, in the case of Gearbox, they make a lot of money off their own IP, Borderlands will make them a lot.

The developers need jobs though, if the company makes more money then they can fund further projects and keep people employed.
Some developers get bonuses from the success of the game. But besides that if the development company makes more money then they can use that to fund other projects which keeps people employed or offers new jobs
It isn’t necessarily about price cuts, I’d rather pay the same amount knowing that the developer is getting a larger cut.
Yes they do, delisting just means no one new can buy them and they don’t show up in the store. Existing owners can still redownload the app as long as it’s compatible with their device.
As far as I know, the games on steam haven’t removed the ability to download games that are purchased. I know for sure with mobile Apple and Google don’t allow developers to do anything on the store that would remove people’s ability to redownload purchases, though of course if a game relies on downloading more files…
That’s the first case I’m seeing of something actually removed from the ability to download that people spent money to purchase. Otherwise what I’ve seen is games or whatever being delisted from stores but existing owners could still download them. Or free downloads being removed (like P.T.) which was possible because…
First one I think she just wants him to spice things up and make some effort to be spontaneous.
Besides upload speed your latency would be too high, do you want to play a game if it reacts half a second after you do an action? and at 720p or less?
They do officially support it:
Would you give up you console for not terrible?
Xbox already has in-home streaming, you can stream your Xbox to any Windows 10 PC. They just don’t allow you to do it over the internet.
I’ve tried the PS4 streaming and it works terribly even at home, there’s too much latency. For PC using streaming to the Nvidia Shield I could still notice a slight difference in latency compared to playing directly on PC even with both devices wired.
These services aren’t designed to save you money, they’re doing it because they want you to constantly give them money
To be honest, the Switch is more practical as a mobile device than a controller, that’s why the joycons joysticks aren’t as big as a regular controller. Also, a Switch doesn’t require a constant high-bandwidth internet connection.
Streaming from your own console will not work well, it never has, people don’t have enough upload speed either. also, if you’re on the go, then you’re not likely to have a good internet connection, which streaming requires.
The question here, is what is the point? I think it’s clear that for streaming they want to replace consoles. So if you wouldn’t want to replace your console with it, then why bother? As far as mobile situations go, I wouldn’t ever use it without a controller but I wouldn’t ever have a controller when I’m mobile.
I don’t think they’re intentional plants, but it seems like half the people there were Bethesda employees, probably were told “feel free to show your enthusiasm”
I’m specifically talking about Bethesda, obviously there’s some really good stuff from the Xbox press conference.
There’s been worse, but yeah, it was pretty bad. The only things that were good was Ghostwire and Death Loop
