I don’t care what they’ve done with the game now, 2 years later. I don’t know how they could have been OK with lying so outright about features with the original launch. I would be horrified as a developer to tell people that such big features like multiplayer would be in the game without actually putting development

Hey, remember in Super where Ellen Page rapes Rainn Wilson?

But I don’t know why someone would purchase a box set of all of the seasons without including the final season, that seems weird.

There’s a good chance that the people working on the project weren’t putting their heart and soul into the project, knowing that the only reason the game exists is as a cash grab. There’s some work people do knowing it’s just for the job, not because they’re doing what they really want to do.

Honestly, the film is probably the least visually interesting Star Wars movie, almost every scene is just desaturated grey colors. And the stuff that should look good doesn’t have very good composition.

Sure, it’s a short video, but I can only judge what’s there (same as you) and there’s not any modeling features there.

Source: Me, a 3D modeler

I wouldn’t consider it modeling, it’s much more like an advanced character creator. 3D modeling is more technical, this looks like it’s pre-set with content and specific customization options. Like for example, you can probably change the head shape but you can’t modify the topology. The only real things you can

I don’t play the game, but considering how buggy it is I wouldn’t be surprised.

There’s probably more errors like that

My issue with the game though is that it has far fewer meaningful decisions than it tries to present, you can’t really kill off a character until later in the story, so realistically a lot of your choices don’t matter. Even then, the ending of the story is more about who lived rather than how that affects the story.

The majority of people that are buying the game are not buying it to play online or be competitive, most will play by themselves or with family/friends when available. Mario Kart and Smash are the top games for split screen multiplayer, that’s the primary reason to buy them. You’re thinking of it as someone who plays

Tournaments are extremely unimportant to the vast majority of people playing those games

There’s a much higher value in local multiplayer for Smash and Mario Kart, like the last two consoles, it was easy to pass on using their online features.

You’re missing the point, Nintendo has such a poor online system that taking it away is not much of a penalty to hacking the console.

oh no, you can’t use Nintendo’s online system....

It scales, if you’re a small channel you would get less money, and as you grow you would get more. There’s a point where people can do it as a job, but if that’s their goal then it can be difficult to get to that point if they don’t get anything at all until they reach some high goal.

I’m just saying it’s a weird metric that shouldn’t exist, it doesn’t matter to people that view videos (I’m not getting any benefit from it) it only matters insofar as that Youtube uses it to calculate channel value and it therefore benefits the channel.

It doesn’t take any effort on Youtube’s part, the only issue I see is that smaller channels might not be regularly posting videos which makes a paid subscription kind of a waste. But, it’s also more difficult for people to make more content if they aren’t able to make income from it until they get 100,000 subscribers.

Why would they restrict it to people with over 100,000 subscribers? I don’t think subscribers are even that important, Youtube already suggests videos from people I watch, I don’t need to subscribe to a channel to make sure I get updates.
