They could have had the kids in a different situation helping them get into the Casino, the horse racing didn’t look that great and since it wasn’t valuable in itself it would have been better to cut that and allow the Casino scene more room to breathe.

Yeah, that’s where I think they could have gotten help from the kids to get into the casino some other way, then they would have needed to grab a cloak or something and try not to draw too much attention to themselves while they look for the guy.

That’s where I think they could have cut out the horse racing stuff which would have allowed them more time to spend in the city and the casino, it would have been easy to show the wealth disparity in the city without the horse stuff.

I think I like the movie outside of the Finn/Rose adventure, it’s enough for me to ignore that issue, to me it’s not as bad as Starkiller Base which was so dumb.

We spent way more time in the Cantina than we do in the Casino, which is a bigger set with more characters, they should have spent more time there and gotten more from it.

I’m not bothered by how their plan ended up being useless, people aren’t always going to make the right decisions, but it’s crazy to me how they completely wasted all of the work they put into that casino, it looks like all of the aliens are unique and some of them we see for just a few frames. There was also all the

I mean, it certainly doesn’t look better, but it’s a definitely a different experience.

Sort of, part of the issue is that realistic lighting where you’d place lighting where light sources are actually located doesn’t necessarily look good, which is why they have more hand-crafted lighting for cutscenes. Besides that, when you’ve got a locked camera you can do things to tweak details to make the cutscene

Take a look at the lighting on the characters vs. the lighting in cutscenes, the quality level there drops significantly in gameplay because it’s using the level lighting rather than the carefully crafted lighting in the cutscenes.

Cutscenes have a lot of tweaking involved, they’re not at all like gameplay, very often the lighting will be different from shot to shot to make things look perfect, even characters will be in weird situations if you look at things from a different view. The gameplay of Death Stranding will most certainly not look as

It seems likely that they already have the fix done, they probably figured out and and did the change within a day of it being brought up. What’s annoying is that they probably don’t feel like putting out a small update so close to when they have another big update planned so they’re just sitting on it until they do

Jack Thompson is that you?

Of course I do, but the games industry has a past of assholes trying to put ID checks on games and get games banned. Right now there aren’t any laws that require an ID to purchase a video game.

I’m against loot boxes, but I’m not OK with rules that require an ID check to purchase. It would be better to work with developers to avoid having that kind of mechanic in there.

It takes longer than a week to submit updates for review, if it’s something they could add to an update within a week then they could update it earlier than that.

Or, instead of dicking around they could just release a quick fix for the weapon instead of letting things stay broken for a week. It’s not like the update on the 12th is the only time they can issue an update.

Not sure what you mean, they made a problem worse and probably could have just issued an update to fix that issue rather than letting the problem go on for a week and doing something stupid like this.

Doesn’t sound fun to me

Are they fucking serious? They think a solution to an OP weapon is to give it to everyone? I don’t want to use the weapon—they’re basically making it so that you have to use it to be competitive.

We’ll probably get more at PSX
