I have a theory that Mr. Robot never pushed Elliot from the pier in Episode 2, nor do I believe Elliot jumped. I believe that Tyrell is Elliot, and paid the bum to beat himself bloody, not to beat the bum up. He pays to get beat up so he can go to the hospital to get his Elliot morphine.

I watched the whole first episode very, very intently and have some interesting notes about it. Number 1, the showcase of Elliot's favorite movie being back to the future part 2. Not 1 or 3, but specifically 2. What happened in 2 that was special? I'll tell you. That was where Biff stole the time machine to give

Tyrell was walking by Colby's side and was there for some meeting near the beginning of episode 1. He stopped to chat with Elliot and they discussed some major similarities they both share and closed with; "It'll be a pleasure working with you. Bon soir, Elliot."

Tyrell was with Colby at Allsafe with Elliot in episode 1 or 2. If they're the same, they couldn't have both been working simultaneously. Quite a pickle of a scene to keep the theory alive….

Steel Mountain is the key if there truly is a connection. Tyrell was so mysteriously just there, and Elliot only encountered him when they were both alone. And Elliot planted the Raspberry Pi in the bathroom just before Tyrell walked in.
Time to reason some shit out.
If Tyrell gives him access to level 2 than he's

I truly appreciate that the comments on this thread are positive and enjoy analysis, instead of so many other forums that are so negative and assuming, only stopping to analyze what they dislike about the creative angles taken in the storytelling.
However, one topic that comes up over and over is that if Elliot is

That would be fun, and I had thought that as well in some of my previous posts, but it really seems like a stretch. What I look forward to is Elliot's flooding of memories of all the crazy things he has done and conversations he's had over the years as Mr. Robot that he has no clue about. It seems to me his dad

Joanna made sure that Tyrell wore the right tie.

Yeah, that scene kinda blows up that theory. I think when Elliot says it's just me it's because perhaps he isn't sure anymore who is real or not and doesn't want Tyrell to know just how crazy he truly is. Or it's because Elliot is gonna kill him. Probably both.

There's just too much coincidence between the two of them that can't be overlooked. Both hackers, both in the midst of a major life breakdown, both have instability issues, etc. etc.
The only scene I can't seem to figure out if they are the same is the scene at Evil Corp when elliot presented the hack data and Tyrell

Hopefully it's not another Fight Club twist where Elliot shoots Tyrell only to shoot himself.

Most people after last week's reveal were betting that Mr. Robot was somehow alive. They were also questioning how they could have missed the Darlene reveal. I think this is them giving us what we wanted as a distraction so we don't see what's really coming. They always want us to think we know what's going on, and

I was saying to rewatch this episode actually. I also have zero time to rewatch the entire series, and zero time to hit a pipe even if I wanted to.
The reveal I can't share, because I'm not entirely sure what it is. All I can see are too many unanswered questions concerning Tyrell, why he exists in the show at all,

Mr. Robot interacted with Tyrrell and Elliot separately, yet he was imaginary. I just feel more of an Identity (John Cusack) vibe or a Beautiful Mind situation may be at play this first season, and that much of what we see may be imagined, and only some is actually happening in the show's reality.

Maybe by Colby? Who's the daughter?

I also felt a Tyrell/Vera vibe. Seriously, Tyrell is the key to everything. Period. Just got to figure out how…

I have to respectfully disagree. This show has been breaking new ground since episode 1, and no way they settle as followers. There are bigger clues and none of the reveals so far are "the reveal." Go back to the beginning, watch more, and ask yourself why Tyrell is even on the show at all? He could be erased and it

Seriously, none of tonight's episode was unexpected, yet it was brilliant and masterfully well done. At first, I felt very let down that there are no more mysteries, only answers…then I woke up and considered, what if all of the Mr. Robot drama and the Darlene drama was also a distraction of an even bigger reveal?
A

What if Elliot is an A.I. humanbot who is controlled by his dad to destroy Evil Corp., and that his image is of the son who would have been, but was the one that actually died, perhaps by being thrown out of a window…? He always compares his existence to computers, referring to his inner daemon, or wanting to show

Sounds very Shutter Island -esque to me. Would be a good angle.
