If you hadn’t posted it, I would have. Very nicely done. :)

I wish there were at least story notes or something so the artist could give one last montage episode that tells us how it was meant to end and give the characters and the audience some closure.

I like to think the group made it to the school (they were almost there) and once there they had a nice reunion with Rei’s

We went through this shit in the 70s, it seems a new generation needs to learn it again.

How in the hell would this guy know “what it means to be African?”. He knows as much about being African as I know about being French. Having ancestors come from a place several hundred years ago does NOT make you from that place.

Oh come on. You don’t think police could have been sloppy and failed to count properly or even care enough to make sure they returned every videocasette? I’d be more surprised if they DID carefully account for them all and made sure they were safely returned. I find it far more likely that they gathered what they saw,

Are you fucking KIDDING me?! This bullshit right here, this is why the pairing has always been insulting. It has always made Storm into his bitch, gutting her of all her strength and pride and agency and made her a submissive wifey to an abusive prick. That’s not Storm. At ALL.

The real Storm wouldn’t have reacted to

Who gives a flying fuck about Wakanda? Nobody that’s not from there, that’s who. The fact that T’Challa would expect her to uproot her life (and give up her team which is closer to her than blood and the vital cause she’s dedicated her life to!) just to play princess in a country that means nothing to her but a name

I was skeptical after TFA dissapointed the hell out of me, so I waited on Rogue One until I got a solid read on how it was being reviewed by fans. I ended up loving it, and was hopeful for TLJ. After the burst of that bubble, I’ll be either waiting again for fan reviews of anything else going forwards or just waiting

They’re building Serpentor?

You’re right, the resemblance to George W Bush is uncanny!

I still wish someone had taken Lucas up on his offer to direct the prequels for him. He was a great idea man with excellent concepts and story ideas, and brilliant technical innovations to move filmmaking forward, but little ability for dialogue or getting good performances out of his actors. He also has problems

He killed the younglings because he was convinced the Jedi were power-hungry tyrants who had manipulated the government and caused galactic war either through their machinations or their incompetence or both. Vader was doing what he said he wanted to do with Luke in ESB, “end this destructive conflict and restore

Yes, it is. It’s absolute fact that Vader was not Luke’s father until the second or third draft of the Empire Strikes Back script. It’s not in the early ESB draft or drafts, and nor is it in any of the original drafts or notes for Star Wars. In fact, the original plan for a low budget sequel was novelized as Splinter

Actually the reboot told its own story with its own themes because the director was well aware that the original was perfect and to attempt to replicate it would be a failure. It actually works as a standalone film, despite a lackluster ending that felt either studio mandated or enforced by focus group. Try watching

The taser actually makes sense, though. In retrospect, Robocop shouldn’t have even had a real firearm except that OCP had no accountibility and a war mentality that said it’s easier to just blow away anyone that shoots at cops than deal with arresting them. In a world with more public oversight, the cyborg would only

The black body sucked on purpose, the silver design was much better. The CEO meddled with the design and that’s how we got the shitty black body, which was destroyed by the end of the film and he was in the much better silver one again in the epilogue.

Yeah the ending really did fall flat and I suspect studio or test audience interference had something to do with that. The thing felt like it should have ended with Robo2 near destroyed, presumed dead, and the CEO flying away with his victory but someone panicked at such a downer ending. The whole “ok we need to kill

I too very much like Rebootcop, and honestly wish it could continue as its own thing seperate from the Robocop we all know and love. The film isn’t perfect, of course, but it’s better than anything else post-original film and has more than enough of its own appeal to live as an alternate-universe spinoff.

The MU was not lit differently in TOS, the Mirror Enterprise interior used the same sets and the same lighting with only a minor redecoration. The primary difference was the uniforms. If Mirror humans have a light sensitivity, it was not shown on TOS so this can’t be the Prime Mirror aka the original Mirror of TOS.

Because we who feel the same way about the show are legion, and she writes what we think and feel. We mostly have stopped bothering with other, clearly promotional reviews and news items because we’re done hoping this mess can be salvaged or anyone more brought to our way of thinking. Now, we just read this series and

Prowse did nothing of the sort. He didn’t KNOW, it wasn’t possible for him to spoil it. The only people who knew at the time the scene was filmed were Lucas, the director, and James Earl Jones. Hamil was told after the filming but before release.

Prowse and Hamil were given a wrong script, where Vader said “Obi-wan
