Here's what I took away from tonight's episode.

True. I only mentioned the pet angle if it were a Gambian rat, as they are not native to North America.
I can agree with this and add only 1...
While, yes, a wild rat is dangerous, this is sad. I had a pet rat for a while; they are intelligent, loyal, loving pets. I miss her tremendously. And I always thought about getting a Gambian rat, but I've heard they don't make very good pets. I wonder these are the descendents of pets.
The Doctor doesn't conform to your "lists."
I don't know why you'd skip the TV movie. That's total American action flick. And that makes 11 TV shows for 11 Doctors. Got a nice symmetry to it.
So, Ridley Scott is doing prequels/sequels to all of his movies in the order he originally filmed them. I can't wait for 1491: Almost Paradise.
....... wait...... seriously?
Just got back and, wow. What a movie. I absolutely adored every second of it. I think it might be my favorite movie of the summer. I got really choked up by the end. I was giggling at all the sly (and not-so-sly) references to the original series, especially "Bright Eyes" (though I was mightily disappointed no one…
So, the world *will* end with a bang.
Whew. I was wondering when they'd start doing books for previous doctors. And now I know. Here's hoping they can get Joe Haldeman or Umberto Eco to write a Seventh Doctor book. Or, really, anyone. Bring back Cartmel and Aaronovitch. Heck, I'll write one.
Yeah... if I had a major league hottie like Karen Gillan handing me a thick tubular burrito, you know what I would've said?
I've heard you suffer from a very sexy learning disability. What do you call it?
"If building a MASSIVE and totally unimpressive helicarrier with a giant avengers logo isn't there, then I don't know what there is."
Seems kinda weird to call The Avengers a loser because they didn't show up, but not The Dark Knight Rises.
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Or at least a rebirth of the Time Lords with some human DNA in them. Of course, the idea that the Doctor is god to a race of bureaucrats does have a certain.... something to it. It would give The Deadly Assassin a different spin.
She needs to meet Ace.
