I think I would rather have the blinky-lights calculator thing than a Sonic Screwdriver but that's would be only if I couldn't get a flying DeLorean in the first place. :)

Well, what I meant is I think they're both moles—however, Vogel convinced her that she was a double agent so she would do things for the "bad guys" for lack of a better name more readily.

Nothing to do with this show but…
@ Leonard Pierce

Observer? Like Al from Quantum Leap?

Maybe it's just me but I think VOGEL is the mole and he's just TELLING Janis that he wants her to be a double agent so that she won't realize she's just a mole.

Failing that, they could just do an adaptation of the novel which is centered on Lloyd and Simon (though they'd have to change the ending since Lloyd's final arc is really disappointing given the buildup in the rest of the book).

Ah good point, Sir—either that or scanning the security tapes to see who else has been putting extra cream in their coffee since the blackout began.

Oh. What does it say about the show that I'd rather watch CGi dominoes than actual actors then?

As much as…
…I have ragged on this show in the past, I'll confess I had a great big grin when Demetri was saved so obviously I do care about some of the characters whether I want to or not.

If you go an entire episode WITHOUT one of these things occurring, tap a keg.

I would like to know but I have no idea. I never watch any Canadian TV anyway so I'd never notice if any of it got canceled. I think the last time I watched Canadian TV regularly was when I was a kid watching the American (with Spanish) Sesame Street on PBS and the Canadian (with French) on CBC.

That I can agree with—honestly, I'm probably just jealous. Here in Canada, we can't be Nielsen families so I'm envious of anyone that actually CAN influence what shows get kept and which ones get canceled.

Unless you're a Nielsen family, are you sending any sort of message, though?

We'll be living in a better world when you can substitute "Because I was LOADED~!" for pleading the fifth.

Maybe Dyson is supposed to be a Beatles fan? When I read The Walrus Was Paul (all about the "clues" to the "Paul Is Dead" "mystery"), apparently on the Magical Mystery Tour cover…if you turned it upside down or looked in a mirror or something, you found a phone number. English fans who phoned the number apparently

The 5 times…
…that Janis went off-site when she apparently wasn't at her fertility clinic (assuming we can trust that she was telling the truth about anything in her interview)…did anyone check with the magic computer to see if they were the same 5 days as Marcy the sugar-in-her-coffee addict?

Oh so he's the Family Guy creator? I've never liked that cartoon (I don't like the way he draws chins so I refuse to watch) so I didn't know who he was. Each time I read his name in the review, I kept thinking of Todd McFarlane (creator of Venom) and wondering why people would be so happy to see him get shot. It

I thought the season finale would be April 29th—the date of the next blackout, if I'm not mistaken. I have no idea when that would put March 15th in the show's timeline, though.

Maybe the black camel is a metaphysical/metaphorical cousin of the mysterious kangaroo?

That reminds me—when is it meant to be in the episodes? Obviously, March 15th is the red-letter day for Demetri but since we don't know what date we're currently on, it makes it hard to know how long it is until he (possibly) dies.
