The throw out bearing disintegated in my 02 MINI Cooper S. To get the transmission out you need to remove the bumper and supports and the entire front subframe. Not fun.

I dont really have a story of my own, but Ive seen several female members of miataturbo.net and/or clubroadster.net say theyve had tires changed and had the mechanics put washers on the studs to off balance the wheels so they could claim something damaged.

This probably isnt going to be the the same as what other people are saying, but I hate my wifes 09 CRV. The seats are horribly unconfortable, and the fronts dont go back far enough. Thew visors are useless, the armrests are covered in the roughest fabric I have ever encountered. The center cup holders are too close…
