Yeah. Last two weeks in gaming? I was playing Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright, it rocked. And there wasn't really much on Kotaku, except for that otter video yesterday, that was great.

Hmm. You seem to be correct. Maybe he was just drawn on some of the in0game arcade cabinets. Or a toy in UFO-catcher. Or maybe I just thought him up because of the presence of UFO catchers in game. UFO Catchers have a strong link to Sonic in my head since almost all of them back in the mid-to-late were Sonic-themed…
I wasn't calling them hackers either, but 'fanboys' seems even more far off
Fanboys? Fanboys have to be fans of something, hating everything else being an unfortunate consequence. But these guys are just fucking things up.
Honestly, waiting for Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter has been hell of a long time either. But at least there's some hope.
I think Sonic was actually featured in some of the minigames. Didn't help much. Maybe they need to make Goro Majima an echidna.
I still have one of those, since 2009 or even 2008 I think. It's a piece of crap by now but I hardly even use it anymore since TVs became smart enough to stream most content without the help of any additional devices and tablets took care of most of the stuff I used to do on home PC. Nowadays I only need it for stuff…
Phoenix Wright is one of the best game (ok, series, but I love them too much to make distinctions and call on better than the other) ever along with FF6, Fallout, Grim Fandango. And seeing as those are from the 90s, Ace Attorney may be actually THE best game of current millennium so far.
I kinda want this. If only Kotaku had some tool allowing to track games I'm interested in so I don't miss these silent Japanese releases. I know some other sites do have this feature, but with my new job I totally don't have time for any other gaming media.
Looks like an idea totally cloned from Conception.
I've been interviewing people for the positions of Senior Software QA engineer and/or Test Lead this summer. After a couple of weeks I learned to apply a heavy discount to all the game industry experience. Like, if I can only schedule one interview, I'd rather talk with a person who has 3-5 years of QA experience than…
There's probably something wrong with my perception, but I don't get what's so ugly about Crocs. They are simple - simple shapes, nothing fancy. And simple is nice. Same about Uggs, how can something that simple be ugly?
I got my Vita in March 2013 and it has been my most played platform since that time. Many of the games could be played elsewhere (FF IX, Walking Dead, VLR, Conception 2, Persona 4), some were exclusive (Danganronpa, Gravity Rush, Ys), all were great and not too expensive to boot. It also has decent screen unlike 3DS…
What was so shitty about it? The only thing that I disliked was that combat was at the same time hard and not particularly fun. But when I lowered the difficulty, it became a fun ride.
Back in the 90s I liked the books way more than the game. Not that they were all that great, but I don't like shooters all that much. Back at the time when I had to search for keys and backtrack for medkits, I hated them with a passion. Still I found the books an OK read. So maybe you are not even all that biased.
I wanted to say 'no it's not weird', but you went and said 'legos' meaning you're not probably a Lego fan. So maybe it is weird after all.
I couldn't agree less. I got this game from PS plus and didn't like anything about it at all. The visual style, the controls, the blabbering language. The puzzles that were more about tedium and fighting the controls rather than thinking and finding a solution. I got bored and never completed it.
Coffee shop shifting its business to milkshakes because of noy being able to brew good coffee, now that's low.
Doesn't like fast&furious but praises transformers. What's wrong with this guy.
Was it released in the west though? I remember playing Romancing SaGa 3 in fan translation. It was cool, but the setting was more traditional compared to Frontier.
