Who cares about Batman when it's PHOENIX FUCKING WRIGHT WEEK?
Who cares about Batman when it's PHOENIX FUCKING WRIGHT WEEK?
Thank you very much!
Should they appear on map when you zoom in? I tried zooming in to LA seeing as I'm visiting in a week and would love to try it out, but didn't notice any flags or marks or anything like that.
I don't know, for me bows are not 'insta-cool' . More along the vein of bald guys in the lead role and brown palette. It started early on with Oblivion(remember the line 'we'll only have bows for ranged weapons, but they are going to be so cool' along the other hype?) and Gears of War(Torque Bow was a cool new gun…
How so? A sphere is a 2-dimensional surface. There's no way you can control in 3 dimensions using it. This is easily illustrated by 3ds circle pad - it's planar but has all the same directions.
How is X-axis is non-negotiable? Maybe as in 'not really as much an issue as Y axis'? 3rd person games are totally random about this. One game would rotate view clockwise when moving right stick to the right and the other counter-clockwise. Modern Western action games would often be clockwise while older and Japanese…
You are wrong. If you look at D-pad, it has same basic directions. Nobody in their right mind would call up/down on D-pad 'backward' and 'forward' for 2 reasons:
I'm not talking exact numbers here. If you look at single-player gaming, however, there's Western gaming and Japanese gaming and hardly anything in between. If you split an apple into 2 parts, you'd probably call each of them 'half' unless one is totally tiny. Which is not the case for Japanese games industry.
It's even more fucked up than you can imagine. Sometimes my android phone starts recording video in portrait mode. This sort of thing happens: you can be taking a picture in portrait and following up with a video(camera app does both), or you start your video when accelerometer is not quite sure if it's portrait or…
Oh well.
Seing as Japanese publishers are somewhere about half of the gaming universe, talking about '99% without the Japanese' looks kind of silly.
Compact+more or less silent+powerful
I don't know about the books, but in the TV series Jon Snow is hardly a kind of person people would want for a king. Don't get me wrong, he's one of the few genuinely good guys out there and not entriely unlikable. But they didn't show him as someone smart enough to rule a country. His bravery is more of the reckless…
I am a fanboy. Or rather used to be. Before III, every next game was more fun to 100%. Yes, I loved Revelations: after all, you have to try real hard to see the infamous tower defence. III was ok if you kept to the story, but many of the optional tasks were a chore. Add lack of landmarks on top of that: what is NY…
This is hardly 'second-screen experience' though. Sony has Vita moving in that direction in case it's really growing big.
What do you mean by 'better performance'? From what I know, choice between AMD and Nvidia is choice between more performance per dollar(AMD) or paying a bit of premium for having less issues(NV).
It's 'boring because it's like going to school again' for many if not most Americans and 'boring because who the hell are these people I never heard about' for many if not most Europeans.
Yeah, because mobile app is THE thing that makes you choose one console over the other :)
Well I'll give you a counter-example. I'm a MS fanboy outside of gaming(love my WP and Surface Pro), but totally pro-Sony in gaming. At least since Microsoft stopped pushing 360 in Japan because I prefer Japanese games to Western ones.
That may work, but the bulshitting has to be rather elaborate. I'd bet they have a more or less effective filtering system for fake accounts based on 'conventional' data sources. For example you post that you are going to Rome on vacation but they see you check-in on a plane to Buenos Aires - bing! - that Rome thing…
