50% of the articles on AV Club are garbage shitposting about celebrities they don't like. 30% are anti-Trump screeds and the remaining 20% are either what passes for legitimate news in the entertainment industry or fanboy wankfests about topics that are "okay" to like.

Outrage on social media is what counts for news today. Truly Walter Cronkite missed out on the TRUE era of journalism that we live in now.

Get into a fight with some hologram Crips and blame all his problems on hologram Puff Daddy?

Followed by Elvis stepping out from behind the curtain to applaud.

I don't mind that women are getting more starring roles in films, but it shouldn't be a benchmark as to a film's quality. I'm starting to see more and more of what I call "girl's night out" style movies where a bunch of women engage in debauchery like a gender-swapped version of movies like The Hangover. Films like Bad

How about Boxcar Bertha? One of Barbara Hershey's best performances…

(Psst! Maybe that's not a problem at all, and Spielberg can tell any story he wants to!)

Why? Why is it Steven Spielberg's job to direct films that appease people's political agendas instead of what he wants to make? Fuck Elizabeth Banks and anyone who tries to shame storytellers.

The AV Club switched from Disqus to Kinja… And then the murders began.

What, just The Color Purple? No love for his first theatrical film, The Sugarland Express starring Goldie Hawn?

See, I agree with you, but I actually place most of the blame on Jim Carrey. Lloyd had some dark moments in the original film, but in the sequel Carrey played him like a complete monster. I actively hated Lloyd the second time around.

It's sort of up in the air. He starts off on the Asian storeowner with "You come to my country…" and I believe he might have some choice words for the Hispanic gang members who try to roll him, not that they were stunning representatives of their race.

It wasn't completely awful, it had a few funny moments. Now Dumb and Dumber 2 on the other hand… I sat in silence in the theater wondering how something so unfunny and awful could have been made by the same people as the first.

At least two times so far, the Portland train stabber was a Bernie Bro too.

Just because the main character is racist, I don't think it's a racist movie. You're supposed to be uncomfortable while watching it, that's the point. Plus a lot of the stuff he does in the movie is funny as hell. It's like watching a gangster movie, you can cheer on the protagonist when he does stuff you like, and

I'll actually defend Schumacher as a filmmaker. He's pretty good at capturing a dark film noir style. His Batman movies may be shit, but The Lost Boys, Flatliners and 8mm were all enjoyable movies dealing with dark subject matter. St. Elmo's Fire is an enjoyable Brat Pack movie too.

JMP didn't comment on this story? I'm shocked, utterly shocked I say…

Oh, you're just mad because you know the My Little Pony movie that comes out this year is going to suck ass, just like the Equestria Girls series…

Trump never made gay rights and women's rights a major part of his platforms (he paid lip service, that's it), Hillary did. Trump is being a consistent asshole by accepting money from the Saudis, Hillary is the bigger hypocrite in that situation.

Crisis averted, I hit upvote just to further confuse it!
