Honestly, that’s the biggest advantage of Android, in my opinion - you don’t have to use a single thing Google (other than the OS), if you don’t want, and the third party services you DO use will generally feel just as well-integrated. As Jacob said, go for Spotify - honestly, in its current form, it’s superior to

That’s awesome! We have absolutely nothing like that at the cars & coffee meets around here. Not at the few I went to when I lived in Plano, TX, either, and those meets were packed with McLarens, etc.

I personally hate the 280ZX. It took the absolutely gorgeous 240Z, and tried to 80's it up with harsh lines and sharp edges, while trying to maintain the smoothness that was the 240. Another knock for being a convertible, but I understand that’s just just my preference.

I’m not sure how CnC works near you - but around here, it’s certainly not any kind of official event. No one puts it on, as you say, people just show up. It’s all word-of-mouth.

That’s exactly the point. You don’t remember too many car meet fails before cell phone cameras and Youtube, because everyone didn’t have a camcorder that fit in their pocket, and a venue on which to display the stupidity. Trust me, nothing has changed, outside of the size of the audience.

“I have a tiny penis, good sir.”

Hmm, I didn’t say that it was the best car I’ve owned through the years - I said I enjoyed driving it. I’d have to say that the best car I’ve owned was my 2011 IS-F, but my wife hated it, so it got traded for the M235i. My wife’s C43 AMG is a close second - though I honestly preferred her GLA45 AMG. It was a crappy

As I said, those were only a small handful of the cars I’ve owned.

I bought this the other day. I have a good 75 minutes in, and that’s during a time when I expected to have zero free time in my life. Worth every penny, not a single sign of getting boring yet.

Oh, those have four doors these days? And 6-pot Brembos? And good steering? Amazing, I had no idea. Thanks for solving all of the problems ever!

Your preference of driving a slow car fast is one thing, but that doesn’t make him an asshat for having and enjoying the power his car has, assuming he does it safely.

The FIVE SECOND FASTER 0-140 time in the STi says otherwise.

Come on, that’s only about 20 car lengths! It’s almost the same.

My rear tires very much beg to differ on that.

Yeah, I’m not sure we’re driving the same car. The STi absolutely is not the gussied-up econobox it once was. The interior is actually fairly decent now - basically on-par with the M235i I traded for it. The stereo is very good, with the Harman Kardon setup. Power isn’t stellar - but it doesn’t need to be, at this

Have you ever driven one? I opted for my 2018 over an M2 I had an allocation for. It’s a very, very good car, just... a bit long in the tooth.

Man, you just made me miss that show SO MUCH. You also just made me feel SO OLD.

Honestly hate the Christmas colors. I don’t even particularly care for Porsches, though I fully understand how glorious they are.

We’ve got retro designed cars and trucks all over the place. While this Apollo is utterly insane, exactly what you want in a supercar, I think we can do better. Let’s imagine a future where Ferrari does a ‘future retro’ versions of the Testarossa and the 355. Where Lamborghini says “Hell yes, we can definitely make a

It’s up to its lights in water damage... i.e., ‘light’ water damage. It’s all about context.
