Retired confusedly to their bunks.

Nintendo fanbois are notorious for not having managed expectations. This is probably the real reason why directs are paused and not because of COVID (seriously, they’re a super wealthy company...it’s not that hard to edit together a 20 minute feature remotely).

This sort of review makes me want to start playing again.

There are also two ever-important factors that must be calculated here.
1) Human Nature - humans indulge in over-consumption and materialism, there are almost no exceptions to this. When told “you can have/do/buy/eat anything you want!” then they will always go to the most extreme.

I’d love to, you know, pay off my house and credit cards and buy a reasonably nice car, and put away money to send my kids to college. And be able to take a vacation in the summer.

If this sugar and plastic pile burns down it’ll probably caramelize.

I’ve never bought a rental, but every time I’ve bought a car I’ve gone into it with the mindset that I’m going to keep it until it’s no longer mechanically sound. So by the time I’m ready to get rid of a car, I’m not expecting much for sale/trade-in. But if you’re someone who likes to switch it up every few years,

I can agree with this, tonberries are really something special. I will say that cactuar are a close second though, getting obliterated by 10000 needles has its own unique appeal.

Every time I think of Adam Sandler being a quite remarkable actor, I mourn his absence as the Bear Jew in Inglourious Basterds.
