I want to like this but it’s at 444 right now and my OCD won’t allow me.

I think epi pens are too expensive for all schools and daycares to have on hand at all times. If I had a kid with a severe allergy like that, I would staple an epi pen to his shorts every time he left the house, but I totally understand that a lot of people can’t afford it.
My son is anaphylactic to shellfish. At this point, the warning label should be if you feed my child shellfish, I will kill you. Not figuratively either. I will literally choke you until the last breath leaves your body.
You don’t play with allergies. I’m allergic to peanuts and tree nuts the same way this sweet boy is allergic to dairy. I ended up in the ER once in anaphylaxis; thankfully they saved my life. I once had to cuss a restaurant manager out because I ordered a dish with no mention of nuts, told the server about my allergy…
The phrase we are looking for is “gross negligence”.
Someone definitely dropped the ball. Providers always keep information like that readily available, possibly on a chart or bulletin in the kitchen. I’m actually surprised they have cheese on site at all since the little boy had such a severe allergy.
I don’t want to hear about this being a “tragic accident” because it wasn’t.
President Obama’s “health care for all” law was officially called the “Affordable Care Act” but has been nicknamed Obamacare in honor of its champion.
There are so many levels of irony here that I officially don’t understand any of it. Someone do a translation for a befuddled non-American?

Especially nowadays when so many of their brethren are coming outta their closets in full KKK garb...they think that just because they aren’t marching with those dweebs in white polos that everyone else is supposed give them a nice pat on the back.
It really is as simple as “be a good person who’s open to learning and don’t expect props for it”.
There we fucking go!
Step 1.) Shut the fuck up and pay attention.
For starters, don’t come into a Black-oriented forum and complain that the articles don’t speak directly to you.
I hate the comments I see here sometimes where a white person comes in and is basically like “Um hi, white person here! I just want to know if you could educate me on being less offensive!”
#8.5: The “if you’re not talking directly to me and giving me specifically individualized instructions on not being a piece of shit, then you’re being counterproductive and I’m just going to keep being a racist (but I always was going to just keep being a racist anyway)“ guy.
10. The “I would have voted for Obama again” guy, which, since a three-term presidency is literally not possible…
