I know it's less likely to occure with a expensive tablet, but I purchased a cheaper Polaroid Tablet PMID 703C and it has this issue. Its not thinner then the iPad but I figured if the Xperia is thinner then the iPad mini & has a plastic backing then it could suffer the same issue.
