I've found that comments that start with "so you're saying" or "so, by your logic" always proceed to either distort the original argument, or project all sorts of stuff onto it. Your comment is no different.

Maybe you meant to respond to somebody else, because I certainly didn't say a giraffe is more important than a cow, not did I even imply it. In fact, if you scroll down, I explicitly state in another comment that a giraffe life = a cow life.

That's fine, although I certainly never said "slaughtering a cow for food is a-okay while slaughtering a giraffe is an inhumane tragedy." It's a lot more complex than that.
