4.99 a month and I can stream my entire 200-game Steam Library to my Shitty mac and play Metro Exodus, Tem Tem, Grim Dawn, POe, Destiny 2 etc on max settings at 60 fps.  so yeah, its pretty amazing

Because it was known in Nerd circles that blockbuster PS1s had early serial numbers, my crew took our store-bought PS1s and “swapped them” with the PS1s from Blockbuster, because early serial numbers could do the CD Tray open swap trick to get japanese import games to play off disc.

Leveling as a group is next to impossible, but I feel your pain. A better idea is to set a goal date when everyone is expected to hit level cap, at which point your team can begin doing all of the endgame content together. Leveling is best solo, or with a single friend/partner you can rely on.
