So that's the implication right? Cannibalism? I'm not the only one who's thinking that, right? Because he really stressed that they were starving.

I loved that line.

I think the Amigara Fault reference is what made it very real and unsettling for me.

"You had an Arrow-Plane?"
"Yeah, back when I thought I was Batman."

Schmidt's storyline was great, but I absolutely hated Jess's storyline. What's even worse is that Cece and Coach called her out at the very beginning with a "don't do that" and "don't make it about you." It just felt so uncharacteristically selfish of Jess to go to that funeral.

I actually really liked Britta as the wise bartender.

Cuckoo-bananas!

I let out a MASSIVE laugh when Elroy said "They did it, those bastards finally did it!" in reference to data storage reaching the terabyte level.

Culturally it's unacceptable, but it's theatrical dynamite!

If by "If Mark Waid can do it…" you mean "anyone can do it" I feel like you're weirdly saying that Mark Waid is at the absolute baseline when it comes to writing ability. Mark Waid is an amazing writer.

Finn makes a wish that the Lich never existed, and that creates a new timeline where his parents are alive and the entire world is completely different. That timeline eventually gets reset after some more wishery from Jake and Prismo.

I've loved this stupid show since the beginning, but damn if the last four episodes haven't been utterly fantastic.

"Leslie and Ron" reminded me a lot of the Mad Men episode, "The Suitcase." It had that same "two people who love each other hashing shit out" thing going for it. That was one of the best episodes of Mad Men, and unsurprisingly this was one of the best episodes of Parks. Fantastic.

Worth noting that Billy Dee Williams also reprised his role as Lando in the The Empire Strikes Back radio drama which was produced back in the 80s. He was given a LOT more material than he had in the movie, and was a really standout performance.

The whole thing will take place at a Teaching Parks and Rec department and only a few of the characters will return as professors.

That impression was AMAZING.

After you run over a guy's foot with a lawnmower, that's pretty much it for your career I think.

I think after this episode I'm done. What a shame.

Goddamn that's a shame. The show really REALLY picked itself up in the third season and has been firing on all cylinders since. :(

I was worried that when Eliza and Bethany hugged and Eliza said "Maybe we're done beating each other up" they would go for some kind of stinger joke that would undo all of that right before the commercial, but they played that moment really straight. I appreciated that.
