Awesome article. I had the same reaction after watching the video. I never get these false equivalencies.
What does bell hooks refer to in your article—it’s mentioned as some recommended reading??

Jeep products seem to have come a long way from the time I owned a 1989 Wrangler Sahara 4.2l. It was the last American car I ever bought.
I did love the Jeepster concept that was shown at some auto show way back when—it seemed way more modern and streamlined. How come those lines/that look never made it into…
So everyone using an iphone’s tracking feature is committing a felony? Duh! All you have to do is get his permission, same as with the iphone. Police detectives use sneaky methods to get permission, so can you. Use your brain. And stop being a retarded anally retentive moron.
Buttons cost materials and money and are hard to change. You are locked into vendors, you are locked into design decisions, you are locked into volumes purchased, and you are locked into mechanical/electrical points of failure. With software and virtual buttons/sliders/controls, all of this goes away, though of course…
There is a VERY SIMPLE way to avoid this from ever happening. Before it makes the call, have the computer sequence the syllables needed to pronounce the name, use the rules of pronunciation to assemble the audio for the name, and compare it to an audio list of offensive words. If it matches any, simply have the…
Err, yes, she should. No need to turn into a metrosexual. Reclaim your pride.
Bad advice? Nah, that would be your dad not using a condom 9 months before you were born.

Spend $200 and get a vehicle tracker. Or, if he has an iPhone, activate the Find My iPhone (surreptitiously). Or, hire a…
When he started talking about how to get a perfect dividing line for the paints in the wheels, first thing I thought of was to lower it into water/liquid coating and get a perfectly level line all around. Paint it, wash it off, paint the remainder the other colour.
Really not that brilliant. Or maybe I am. Stupendous!

Labelmaker takes too much time.
Labels are wasteful.
Labels can peel.
Labels are not readily available, unless you take your collapsible tiny house everywhere with you.
You are confusing equity with salary. As an employee of the company, the owners do have equal rights to their salaries too. What’s left over after all the expenses (including salaries) have been paid is the profit. The owners get to enjoy that too...if there is any.
Well, I can relate, at least to the headline. Didn’t hide it from the (now ex-) wifey, didn’t commit fraud, but the cars and motorcycles weren’t cheap, and I couldn’t stop buying them even when the dot.com boom became the dot bomb. It was financial suicide through credit card debt and home equity lines of credit...and…
