You can’t unionize the whole industry, it would be per country. Which will make the huge corporation global studio system weird.

Unions don’t always protect their people. I know people who’ve been dropped from their unions for needing months of medical leave.

If games weren’t made globally, I’d say going union is a great idea, but this would just make a weird market where publishers might start shifting more to their studios outside of the US.
