We learned back in December Netflix had picked up Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045

Netflix makes stuff for their global market, this isn’t targeting Japan, it’s all their anime watchers.

Has nothing to do with attitude. Different laws for countries make it near impossible to do a cross country union.

You can’t unionize the whole industry, it would be per country. Which will make the huge corporation global studio system weird.

Unions don’t always protect their people. I know people who’ve been dropped from their unions for needing months of medical leave.

If games weren’t made globally, I’d say going union is a great idea, but this would just make a weird market where publishers might start shifting more to their studios outside of the US.

I’m still surprised Amazon Canada and Chase Canada broke up.

They don’t own it, that’s why. Funimation put them on there subbed and didn’t put more than 3 of the 5 OVAs on Netflix.

Netflix is missing OVA 4, 5(Funimation themselves weirdly never released it) and the movie.

Well, I don’t have it, my library isn’t part of it.

This issue also never went live, it was just some test bug that they threw in the patch notes for fun, but people wanted to see the bug.
