Well for the comparison between an Electric vehicle and a Gasoline vehicle to work you should really eliminate all variables. I would remove all suspension, wheel, brake, and tire costs. That brings you to electric motor with battery compared with engine, transmission, diff, gas tank.

I think though you can ignore struts. Brakes, suspension, chassis, and tire maintenance should be similar. I always hear people complain about the cost of batteries on electric cars but when you really do the math the gas powered vehicle’s additional drivetrain maintenance is a lot. Just simple things like fluids,

Fuel would be quite a lot. I would do the math but I’d really not want to the 300,000 mile fuel cost of a full-size vehicle on high test

It is not that crazy of a number really. If the Mercedes is serviced every 10,000 miles, that is over 30 annual servicing! Probably every 30,000 is a more substantial service, and every 60k is an even larger service. Then you through in all the other items on the Mercedes such as transmission repair, probably at least

I hate these. you live in “not Europe.” Like just put them damn license plate on.

Yes, of course nothing drives the ladies crazy like a 180hp “tuned” 13 year old Volkswagen.

Do not forget the Hoonigan sticker or the tank top without muscles.

Ftitment is EVERYTHING and do not forget to “throw in some camber, yo!”

What is fascinating is because the vehicle was not in production yet the parts clerks could not look up the correct number to cross reference to Bosch or Champion. Thus they ended up with Bosch plugs one heat range warmer and Champion’s one heat range colder than marvelously designed by the engineers. Due to this odd

it appears to be a pen.

She could improve her carbon footprint by losing weight.

No, VW people are annoying, I have a Mk6.

Oh yes! The best is when one of these guys spot a mismatch. The get in a tizzy like an IRS agent spotting a rounding error or a Drill Instructor spotting an Irish Pennant. “Ha, that is the battery tie down bolt from the 67 not the 66, you can tell by the different tinge from the differing aluminum alloy.”

I think Volkswagen people take themselves the most serious. Never is a car to be appreciated that is not a VW, unless it is an Audi and then all flaws are overlooked. Porscehe is cool too by association but one could never consider a BMW or “cough” an American or Japanese car.

Question: What would Jesus do?

They do not use sponges. Sponges are for people who do not care about swirls. One washes a Ferrari like this with a plush microfiber washing pad.

Of course, the reason for opting the manual is to pick whatever gear you want.

Yes, you are a horrible person.

The Z3 (espically the M) actually looks better than the Z8 in person. I always park mine next to the Z8 at a local Car show and everyone always comments on it. The Z8 is actually a very large car in person and that kind of throws off the feel of the car.
