It’s not silly to be proud of a team’s history, it becomes silly when to disparage all forms of success by other teams. The fact that yankees fans do use 27 is them being brain dead. They have more chips if yankee fans would just tell them to go back only 20 years ago.

er, i don’t about consistently great. I’m pretty sure they have more last place finishes than the yankees and the yankees have been averaging about 2 more wins on average than them during the 21st century. The red sox just have a better WS record than the yankees do, a cool 16-3.
